I dragged my nails against the walls shakily. My fingers crumbling the withering stone until it became powder against my fingertips. My fingers were numb and left a trail of blood behind as I traced out another day into the stone wall. My body continued to grow ridged and cramp; a tremble racked my body from the constant cold draft drifting through. I was like a corpse that yet could bleed and breathe. My stomach was bloated, and I began to wonder if that was my bodies reaction to decomposing. My cheeks were hollow and my skin pale as the bones of my shoulders, ribs, and spine became more and more prominent every day.
