John lay in the hospital bed with his eyes tightly closed, his face so pale that it almost blended into the sheets.
The roommate glanced at the professor, who was sighing repeatedly nearby, hesitated for a moment, and then said, "Professor, why did you tell him? I think Della definitely doesn't want him to know where she went."
"What else could we do?" the professor said helplessly. "Let him die at our school?"
She glanced down at John and said, "Besides, even if we don't say anything today, he'll find Della eventually. If Della had truly let go, how could she possibly be moved by him again? And if she hasn't let go yet, then when he goes to Ascar to find her, it'll be the final chapter in this story.
