Avon's POV
I have no idea how to answer his question. All I did was stare at his face and he did the same thing which caused me to panic.
My hands started to shake so I immediately hide them behind my back.
"It's impossible to recognize this person since the video footage is too dark right?" he asked so I slowly nod my head.
"I don't know that person Jeremiah," I responded and upon saying those words guilt crept inside my system.
I have no idea what I should do anymore. I know keeping the truth from him is too selfish and cruel but I can't afford to betray my family.
Once Jeremiah has learned about this he will hate me for sure but I promise to myself that once he is done with his operation I will confess everything to him.
I needed at least a month to prepare myself.
