Avon's POV When we can no longer stare directly at the sun we decided to go home. "Do you have anything else on mind?" I asked then took a glance at the rearview mirror. When Jeremiah stared back I felt my cheeks heating up again so I immediately looked away. "How about you?" he asked back while my eyes is on the road but I can feel his eyes on mine. "I don't have plans," I responded even though I received a message from Althea earlier asking me to come over. "You lost contact with your friends?" he asked curiously which made me laugh, what made him think that way? "No, I didn't, we are just both busy with our own lives," I responded with a mix of a lies but I don't think he can sense it since the way I said all those words sounded natural.
