Avon's POV
I want to be with Mathew as long as I can but I know that can't because I will a nuisance to the Forter.
I stayed for a couple of hours but when Elizabeth Forter and I arrived I have no choice but to leave. Even though she didn't say anything by the way she looks at me I know she wants me gone.
I hugged Mathew tightly before leaving the mansion. Jeremiah offered to drive me home and I refused but his fiancé insisted so I have no choice but to agree. I don't want to create an argument with them besides I can see that Avon Blake is just trying to be nice to me.
"Just dropped me off at Althea's place," I told him and he nod his head. We've been to Althea's place before and he seems like he still knows the way.
The whole drive was silent but after a while, I broke the silence.
