Chapter 34 moongoddess

  Caseys P.O.V

  I could hear Katherine and Kacey talking, but I couldn't make out what they were saying. It felt like my whole body was changing into something else, but I couldn't look to see what was happening. I was engulfed in darkness and couldn't see any possible way of escaping, I felt scared and alone, but then a small ball of light appeared and started to get brighter and brighter, until it eventually lit up the whole room. I had to close my eyes at first because the light was blinding me, but once I had opened my eyes and inked a few times to adjust to the light I saw that I was in my room. Not my room at the pack house, but my old room in my parents house. I looked around and saw that everything was still in its place, like nothing had ever happened and it was so confusing. I took a step back, when suddenly a woman was standing next to me, scaring the s**t out of me and making me jump. I clutched my hand to my chest, trying to control my breathing and stop me having a heart attack, when I looked at the woman and instantly felt calm. She was beautiful, with long white hair, bright green eyes and she was wearing a long white gown. She walked ccloseto me, but passed me by and sat down in a chair, next to where my desk is, but my desk wasn't there anymore and none of this was here. This isn't real, am I dead? Is this what heaven looks like? Who is this woman?

  "Casey, it's ok my child, I am the moon goddess. I watch over all werewolves, vampires, fairies and whatnot, I came here to help you through this." The woman said, what the hell is a moon goddess? Why am I here? God this is so confusing.

  "I don't understand, why am I back here? Why am I here? There's nothing here for me anymore. What's a moon goddess?" I asked, the woman stood up and walked over to me, but even though she was a stranger and I felt lost she seemed to calm me down with just a look.

  "It's ok, I brought you here, because I thought it would calm you, but if you don't want to be here, I can take you someplace else." The woman said and tears formed in my eyes, as I looked around the room.

  "This is all gone, it isn't real. I don't want to be here." I replied, my voice catching in my throat as I tried to swallow the lump that had formed. The woman nodded and took my hands in hers, a warm bright light appeared and it felt like it had consumed us. I closed my eyes and after what felt like seconds, I opened my eyes again once the warmth of the light had disappeared and saw that we were standing in a meadow full of flowers. 

  "This is beautiful." I said, looking around at all the bright colours. The woman nodded, leading me over to a small white bench and sat down, gesturing for me to do the same. I sat down next to her, but I still felt really nervous. What do I say to a….oh what did she call herself? A Moon Goddess? I turned to look at her and she was smiling at me.

  "So, you're the moon goddess and you look over all the supernatural." I asked, still trying to wrap my head around it all.

  "Yes, that's right. I'm sorry I matched you with the wrong mate, I thought he would have been faithful and honest with you. I gave him every opportunity, but he was the wrong mate for you and that's the reason why I gave you Ryan." The Moon Goddess replied, nodding. She was the one that matched me with Jake and Ryan, but why? How did she match me?

  "Katherine and Kacey will tell you about him soon, but you can trust him, Casey. I know you have trust issues right now and that is understandable, but you will learn to trust him soon. You're fully changed now, you're a lycan, but you will not thirst for blood, you have been here for three weeks and it's time to wake up now." The Moon Goddess said, which made me even more confused than I already was. I had so many questions I wanted to ask her, but I didn't know if I was allowed to, this was all new to me.

  "What? But how? I just blacked out a few minutes ago." I asked, it was the first question that came to mind, but she just chuckled.

  "Time passes faster here, you will be just fine my child, I promise." The Moon Goddess replied, I nodded and before I could ask another question the bright light consumed me again and I was back in the pack house in my room. I could tell it was morning by how the sun rays were hitting my face and I heard the birds chirping outside. I could hear people talking outside and when I finally opened my eyes I saw Katherine lying down beside me. She looked so tired and I hope she didn't stay with me the whole time as that was a long time. The moon goddess said that I had been asleep for three whole weeks and that was way too long for Katherine to spend in this room with me. I wonder if Ryan came and stayed with me as well, he did take the pain that Jake caused away from me and I was slowly starting to warm up to the idea of him being my mate.

  Katherines P.O.V

  It had been three weeks since Ryan was forced to mark Casey, I knew that it hurt him to do it and he didn't want to mark her like that, he wanted it to be special, but it was the only way to stop the pain of that bastard cheating on her. I had stayed in here with Casey the whole time, only leaving her side to go to the toilet and take a shower, my mom and Terry even brought my food up to me because they knew I wouldn't leave her. It seemed to be taking her forever to wake up and it was starting to worry me, this didn't seem normal. What if she never woke up? No I can't think like that, she is going to wake up, no matter how long it takes, she is going to wake up, she has to. I was reading yet another book when I looked over at casey and saw that her eyes were open, she was finally awake. I tossed the book to one side and jumped on her, squeezing her tightly as I hugged her.

  "Mom, dad, she's awake. Casey's awake." I said mind-linking both of them at the same time. In no time at all my mom and dad came running up the stairs and straight into caseys room, but Casey just sat there looking at all of us. Her eyes were now a tinted green with a silver circle around them and they were very beautiful. My mom walked over to caseys and sat down on the bed next to her, hugging her tightly.

  Casey's P.O.V 

  "Are you ok sweetie? Katherine didn't leave your side at all." Kacey asked, looking concerned.

  "Yes I'm actually fine, how long have I been out?" I asked, wanting to see if this moon goddess was right about being out for a few weeks, I was still a little confused about all this.

  "You were out for three weeks, Katherine stayed up here with you and wouldn't leave your side. Ryan came to check up on you, but he always said that you would talk to him when you are ready." Kacey replied and the moon goddess had told me the truth, not that I thought that she had lied to me, but I didn't know her and she might have been wrong. A part of me wanted to see Ryan, but he was right, I didn't want to jump into something so fast. I had just rejected one ass hole and didn't want to rush into something else, what would people think?

  "Are you hungry?" Kacey asked, but before I could answer my stomach loudly growled.

  "Well that answers that question. Come on, let's get you something to feed that monster in your stomach." Kacey replied and we all broke out laughing. It took me a while to get up and Katherine had to help me walk because my legs were still asleep from not using them, but we finally made it downstairs and into the kitchen.
