Chapter 33 rejection

Katherine’s P.O.V

  That bastard! How dare he cheat on casey, what the f**k is he thinking? Hasn't she been through enough? She doesn't deserve this, if he couldn't be faithful then he should have just rejected her and it wouldn't have been nowhere near as painful as what this is.

  “Honey I need to explain what is going on and why this is happening.” I said, but suddenly Casey clutched her stomach again, screaming out in pain. My mom came rushing into the room, looking straight at casey.

  “What the hell happened?” my mom asked and I decided it was best to mind-link her, that way Casey wouldn't hear.

  “It's that bastard Jake, he's cheating on her. This is the second time in the past twenty minutes that she has been in pain.'' I said, mind-linking my mom and she looked horrified and angry. 

  “Ryan, you need to mark her, it's the only way to stop the pain!” my mom yelled, but Ryan just looked shocked.

  “Casey? Is that ok with you?” my mom asked, looking back at casey.

  “First tell me what's going on? This is horrible. What's happening? I've never felt anything like this before. What's going on?'' Casey asked, me and mom looked at each other, we knew we had to tell her, but this was going to break her heart. Another wave of pain hit her, causing her to scream out again and bring Ryan back to his senses.

  “Casey the pain you are feeling is because….because of Jake. Hes….hes cheating on you and it's because you two mated and he marked you.” my mom said, holding Casey and rocking her back and forth as she cried.

  Casey’s P.O.V

  I was completely shocked and hurt by what Kacey had told me, Jake was cheating on me. I thought he loved me, but before I could even utter a single word the pain came back again. It felt so much more intense than last time and made me scream even louder than what I had been.

  “Casey, Ryan needs to mark you, it's the only way to make the pain stop for good. He is your mate too, it's the only way.” Kacey said, my eyes were full of tears and everything looked blurry. I nodded yes and Ryan quickly walked over to me. Ryan held me in his arms and moved my hair out of the way, leaning in closer and sinking his canines into the mark that Jake had previously made. It didn't hurt as much as what Jake's did, in fact it felt great. Ryan licked his mark and pulled away from me, watching it heal up.

  “Jake's mark has vanished, the only mark left is Ryan's.” Kacey said, while Ryan and I looked into each other's eyes. I could see the reflection of myself in ryans eyes and saw that my eyes had changed. I felt like I was going to pass out, but before that happened I wanted to get something off my chest.

  “Hand me my phone please.” I said, they handed me my phone and I clicked on the number that I wanted and called it. I put my phone on the loudspeaker so that everyone could hear what was being said. The phone started to call out and I quickly shushed everyone, it took a few seconds, but Jake finally answered the phone.

  “Hello, hi Casey, I was just thinking about you.'' Jake said, making me feel sick and rolling my eyes. I was so pissed at him and what he had done to me, the pain I had just gone through and all because he couldn't keep his d**k in his trousers.

  “Aww, were you really just thinking about me or were you thinking about the one you had on your d**k? Were you thinking about me when you cheated on me? Yeah I know all about it Jake, I felt it several times and Ryan had to mark me just to stop the f*****g pain.” I said, my voice filled with hate. Jake stayed silent for a few seconds and I had to double check my phone to make sure he was still on the line and hadn't hung up.

  “I'm sorry Casey, I found my other mate and I had to have her, besides you let Ryan mark you and that's cheating as well.” Jake replied, trying to put the blame on me and make me feel guilty.

  “Seriously! Seriously! You have the nerve to try and turn it back on me, Ryan wouldn't have had to mark me if you didnt f**k someone else! You inconsiderate bastard! You know what screw you, we are over. I read that I can permanently put an end to us by doing this….I Casey Lowes reject you Jake the asshole McGee. f**k you and goodbye.” I screamed, but even though I was fuming I could still feel my body fighting to stay conscious.

  “Wait….I Jake McGee accepts your rejection. Goodbye Casey, I hope someday we can be friends.” Jake replied, making me even madder, why the f**k would I want to be friends with a son of a b***h like him? I ended the call and slammed my phone down on the bed, looking back up to ryan.

  “Ryan, thank you for helping me, but if you don't mind I would like to be alone please, this is a lot to take in.'' I asked and he nodded, leaving the room. I looked back to Katherine and Kacey, who both looked at me worried.

  “Sorry, I just didn't want to pass out in front of him, I feel really dizzy.” I said, lying back on the bed and before I knew it, I was out like a light.

  Katherine’s P.O.V

  My mom looked at Casey and then back to me and I knew she was just as worried about Casey as I was, but my mom would never show it or tell anyone. My mom was always the one who stayed strong for everyone else, no matter what she was going through.

  “This poor girl has gone through so much, the death of her parents, finding out about us, almost getting killed and now this. I hope she can find some peace.” My mom said, holding Casey's hand.

  “How long is this going to take? I don't want to leave her alone, I wonder what her mind is going through right now?” I asked and my mom pulled me into a hug, gently squeezing my shoulders.

  “She will be okay and there is no time limit on these things, she will wake up when she wakes up. She is home now and we are her family, that's all that matters.” my mom replied, but I was still worried.

  “That's if she accepts us as her family. How are we going to tell her that Ryan is my brother? How are we going to explain that Ryan is the next Alpha of the pack and that she is going to be the future Luna?” I asked, but my mom just smiled and looked back at casey.

  “We will figure it out. I promise.” my mom said, slightly making me feel better.
