Chapter 24 are you mad

Casey's P.O.V 

  Jake pulled into the driveway and I didn't want to let go, I knew I had to but I didn't want to and I got off the bike.

  "I had fun today, thank you.'' I said, smiling and he nodded.

  "Maybe after school tomorrow we can go for another ride?" Jake asked, I could feel myself getting excited and my eyes lit up once more.

  "I would love that." I replied, kissing his cheek, which made him smile and blush a little. I walked into the house and decided that I was going to look through the last four boxes, I couldn't keep putting it off, no matter how much I wanted to and there was also the matter of the last briefcase. I slowly walked upstairs to my room, trying to put it off a bit longer and sighed as soon as I was standing in front of my door.

  "Well here goes nothing." I said, taking in a deep breath and opening my bedroom door. I picked up the briefcase first, placing it on my bed. I opened the last case and there was so much in here, paperwork my dad did, all the cases he won and a few that he lost and a tie. 

  "Wow, I didn't know he still had this." I said out loud to myself. I picked the tie up, bringing it to my nose so that I could smell my dad's aftershave again. I remembered this tie, I gave it to him on father's day four years ago. I looked back in the case and there was a note in the bottom, I rolled my eyes, as I lifted the letter. Here we go again. On the front it read 'Casey for your eyes only'. I was dreading opening it, I hope this isn't another goodbye letter, I was still mourning and I was trying to be strong, but I felt like I was going to lose it. I opened the letter and began to read it. 

My dearest daughter Casey,

  I know you have probably read so many letters that you are sick and tired of them, but I'm sorry to tell you that this isn't the last one. I know you are probably mourning us right now and you're trying to stay strong, like we knew you would. Just remember this is not your fault. We love you very much. Furthermore you have probably already found the books and read a few pages, got bored and threw them away. We already knew what you were going to do, but if you read some of the book, then you need to read the rest. I know you will probably think you had crazy parents that raised you, but when you take a look in the boxes, you will find out the truth. We knew they were real, a rogue your mother probably already warned you about, you need to stay away from him. If he tries to talk to you, spray him with the container you found in this case, silver is their weakness, keep that on you at all times. 

  Your friend Kathrine, she will keep you safe, we know she is a werewolf, her father is the Alpha and I know you're thinking, 'what the hell is an Alpha?' Well honey, an Alpha is the leader of the pack, he makes sure the pack is safe and he protects the pack. Her mother's the Luna, a Luna stands by the Alpha, helping him and the pack. They will not harm you, we have watched them for some time and they take care of each other. Now as for vampires, there are two different kinds. Vampires that feed on humans and vampires that feed on animals, they also have Alpha's and Luna's. We don't know when they shift for the first time or how they find their mates, but I'm sure if you're one of their mates, you will be protected, do not be scared. When you open the last of these boxes, you will find a journal I've written in and a few other things, plus more spending money. 

  Don't let the rogues buy the house, sell it to people that have done good in their lives.

  We love you, be safe. 

  I must have read the letter several times before I dropped it on the bed.

  "What the hell? Has everyone gone crazy? Werewolves, vampires, what else people turning into wild cats and bears." I said, lying down on the bed, not wanting to open these boxes. I've had enough for one night and so I put the boxes on the floor, but looked at the last one. 

  "Fine, I'll look at it mom dad, but this is just crazy." I said and opened the lid, I found the spending money that dad had mentioned, it was lying on top in an envelope. 

  "Holy s**t $800, well shopping spree here I come." I said, laughing. I found photos of people, well I thought they were people, but it looked confusing since they were so far away. There were photos of wolves standing beside people and other photos where people were wearing their hair long, but they looked a little strange. Something looked to be off in each picture and this sent shivers down my spine. This is just creepy, if this was real, then I would have to do some investigating, but how? I thought to myself. It's not like I can go up to someone and ask if they are a vampire or werewolf, would I even believe whatever answer they gave me, I'll just have to figure it out for myself. I found the bottle with the silver spray in it and decided to carry it just in case, I might even test it out, but on who? I didn't want to scare or hurt anyone. I closed the box and decided to look at the others tomorrow, after my ride with Jake when school finishes.
