Chapter 25 Casey I'm a vampire

Casey's P.O.V 

  In the morning the sun was shining through my window and I pulled the blankets over my head, not wanting to leave my warm bed, when I remembered I had school today. I got up, showered,dried off and started to get ready. I wore ripped jeans that were ripped at the knee and a black shirt with glitter on the front, I did my hair in a french braid, all the time thinking about what my dad's note had said. I'll talk to Kathrine later, I always read books on werewolves before, but I didn't think they could be real. I got downstairs and picked up a banana, eating it for breakfast, but I wasn't that hungry. I walked outside and Katherine was already waiting for me in her truck, I got in and looked at my friend. She looks just like a normal human being, would she kill me? Would she throw me in the trash like yesterday's garbage? I thought to myself about the endless possibilities. We drove to school in silence and when we got there, I quickly hurried out of the truck. 

  "Casey. CASEY!" Katherine shouted after me, but I didn't turn back and kept walking. She must have thought it was pretty strange and wondered what was wrong with me. I got to class and saw Jake was sitting in the back row, I walked over and sat down beside him. 

  Katherine's P.O.V 

  What the hell is wrong with her today? We didn't speak the whole ride here and she keeps looking at me weird, like I'm going to eat her or something. Have I done something to upset her or make her mad? I wish she would talk to me, so I at least knew what I had done wrong. I came into the class and sat next to Casey, I was about to ask her what was wrong, but the teacher came in and started us with work right away. Math was easy for me and after class it was english, but I didn't have another class with Casey until gym, so I'll have to wait and ask her then. I didn't want to do it during lunch because everyone would be listening. I got up when the bell rang for the next class and just left.

  Casey's P.O.V 

  Jake didn't have another class with me that day, so the next time i would see him would be after school for our bike ride.

  "You still wanna go on that ride after school." Jake asked, smiling at me and making me blush. 

  "Sure I would love to, I'll let Katherine know in gym class." I replied and he smiled that white teeth smile of his, almost making me swoon.

  "I'll be waiting." He said and took off to his next class. After all the classes were done, I had hoped that the day would go by slowly, but lucky me, it didn't. I was in the gym with Katherine and a few other students, when Katherine took me to the side.

  "Casey what's wrong? Why are you mad at me?" Katherine asked and I was a little stunned. Why would she think I was mad at her? 

  "I'm not mad at you Katherine, but there's to many people here, Jake is taking me for a ride after school. When I get home we'll talk ok." I replied, she nodded and hugged me. 

  "I'll see you later then." Katherine said, we had gym, doing sprints and played soccer and when gym was over we got dressed back into our school clothes and the bell rang for the end of school that day. I walked outside and Katherine was waiting for me.

  "I just wanted to tell you to be safe, I'm glad you're not mad at me, I'll be waiting for our talk when you get home." Katherine said, how could I ever be mad with her? Especially after everything she has done.

  "Don't worry too much, I'll be home shortly ok." I replied, she hugged me, nodded and got into her truck, driving off, just as Jake rode up on his bike. 

  "Hey little girl wanna go on a ride?" Jake said, smirking playfully at me. I raised my eyebrow at him, looking back and forth, then I smirked back. 

  "I don't think my guy would like that mister." I replied, trying to look all innocent as I swayed from side to side. 

  "I could make you forget all about this guy." Jake said, chuckling and I rolled my eyes at his humour.

  "Oh alright, I'll give you one shot to make me forget all about him." I said, getting on the back of his bike and giggling, as we took off. We rode for a while until we finally stopped at a trail, it was a lot different from the last one. He took my hand after we got off the bike and looked into my bright eyes.

  "Casey, I need to tell you something, but I don't want you freaking out. I've been wanting to tell you since I first met you, I felt like I was betraying you by not telling you the whole truth." Jake said, completely confusing me. What was he talking about? I took my hand from hjs and gave him a suspicious look.

  "What do you want to tell me?" I asked, hoping it was nothing bad. Jake took a deep breath, let it out and then looked right at me. 

  "Casey, I'm a vampire. I'm not the kind that kills humans, but I do feed off humans." Jake said, my eyes widened and then I started laughing. 

  "Yeah ok and I'm Queen Elizabeth." I said, still laughing.

  "Alright, if you don't believe me, then you will after this. Climb on my back and I'll show you." Jake said and I rolled my eyes, why did he always want me to climb on his back? Is this a weird fetish thing he has or something?

  "Fine, but if you fall and break your back because I'm on it, then it's not my fault you idiot." I replied, but he rolled his eyes.

  "Just get on my back already!" Jake said, I climbed on his back and then suddenly he was climbing up a huge tree, he climbed so fast that we were at the top in a matter of seconds.
