Chspter28 going home to say good bye

Casey's P.O.V 

  They quickly grabbed some clothes out of my wardrobe and dresser, quickly putting them on, when all of a sudden Katherine's mom, dad, two guards and a few warriors came running into the room, making me jump back. 

  "What the hell is going on here? We felt you shift, are you ok?" Ron growled, but one look at Katherine made him calm down.

  "Yes dad, we're ok. Casey figured out we are werewolves and she wanted to see our wolves." Katherine said, he nodded and then looked at me. 

  "Are you ok Casey? I know it's a lot to take in." Ron asked, looking concerned.

  "Yeah I'm ok, I guess my parents writing me letters were preparing me for the shock. I'm still a little weirded out, but I'm ok." I replied, missing out the part that I fainted.

  Katherine's P.O.V 

  Casey had handled all this really well, except for the fainting part, but I would have been more worried if she hadn't have done that. She looked fascinated by our wolves and I was glad to say that she recognised me straight away, but I was so excited to finally be able to show her that I forgot about the being naked part afterwards. It's a good job we managed to get dressed so quickly otherwise, my dad, mom and everyone else would have had a right eyeful when they burst in. That was another thing I forgot in the excitement, that my dad being an Alpha could sense when any of us shifted on the territory.

  "Does she know about Jake too?" My mom mind-linked me and I nodded.

  "Yeah she knows." I mind-linked back and my mom nodded. 

  "Alright everyone, let's get out of here, Casey needs her space and time to come to terms with everything." My mom said, we all left but not before I hugged Casey.

  Casey's P.O.V 

  I sat on my bed, thinking for a few minutes about everything that had happened today, picked up my phone and started to text Jake.

Me: Hi Jake, sorry about today was a little freaked out, still am a little, but I'm ok.

Typing….typing….typing….

Jake: Hi Casey I'm glad you're ok.

Typing…typing….typing….

Me: Did you know Katherine and her family are werewolves?

Typing…typing….typing….

Jake: Yes sorry, but that wasn't my decision to tell you.

Typing….typing….typing….

Me: It's ok see you tomorrow at school.

  I replied to his text and pressed a button on my phone to turn it off, placing it on my nightstand. After all the information I had been given and seeing not only Jake become a vampire, but also Katherine, Bella and Becky shift into wolves had tired me out and I just wanted to go to sleep and process everything. I put on my pyjamas and laid in bed, pulling the blankets over me. I guess I was even more tired than I originally thought I was, because I fell right to sleep. The next morning I woke up and my mind thought back to yesterday, I stretched hard before getting out of bed. I went to the bathroom, did my business, took a shower, brushed my teeth and when I came out I got dressed. I wore my blue jeans, a hoodie, since it's getting cold out and my boots, I left my hair down and let it lie flat over my shoulders. I left my room and headed downstairs, still trying to think everything over, after all it was a lot to take in, living with werewolves, finding out the guy you like is a vampire, this was all just too crazy. I felt like I was having a bad dream and anytime now I would wake up from it, but the more I pinched myself the more I realised that this wasn't a bad dream, this was reality and I was living in it. I grabbed a banana and decided to eat it outside, while waiting for Katherine and a few minutes later she came out.

  Katherine's P.O.V

  I was so nervous about seeing Casey today, I know she was alright with everything last night, but what if she was just in shock. What if after having time to think about it all she hated me? What if she was scared of me? What if she felt like I had betrayed her? All these thoughts and a million others came to my mind in the short distance of walking from my bedroom door to the front door. I opened the door and was surprised to see that Casey was already waiting by my truck, but she didn't look too happy.

  "Ready for school?" I asked and she only nodded, as both of us got in my truck, driving off. We were halfway to school and the silence was killing me, I needed to know what she was thinking and what she was feeling about everything she had learnt. 

  "Listen, I know what you found out yesterday was a lot for you to take in, but we don't attack humans and we don't eat them either, we've learned to live around them, never showing what we really are. It's just like the were-cats do, they hide from humans, because there's not many left, and yes there are were-bears as well and no neither will eat you. Don't worry." I said, breaking the ice.

  Casey's P.O.V 

  I kept listening to what Katherinewas saying, but there was just so much to take in and I was so confused. Werewolves, Were-cats, Were-bear, rogues and vampires. What else is out there? I wanted to find out more, but at the same time don't think I really wanted to know. We finally got to school, just as the bell rang for the first class. We hurried towards math class and when that class was finally over, Katherine told me she would see me in the gym and Jake told me that he'll see me after school. I nodded, but all the time I kept thinking let's not. I didn't realise the halls were empty, but I didn't want to go to class and so I ran out of the school. I didn't know where I was going, until I was standing in front of my old house. I walked up the steps, took out my keys and started to unlock the door, but it was already unlocked.
