Chapter 29 rogue

1071 Words
Casey's P.O.V   I could have sworn that I locked the door, but that was a very tough day, so maybe I didn't. I shrugged it off and walked inside, but this time I made sure that I locked the door behind me when I left, I didn't want anyone walking in, while I was on my own here. I decided I was going to walk around one last time, I needed this and I needed to say my goodbyes. I had a lot of very happy memories here and it didn't feel right to just dismiss them because of my last ever memory here. I walked upstairs, even though I had already double and triple checked the house, I still wanted to check again. I needed to make sure I had gotten everything out of all the closets and this time I remembered to grab the step ladders out of the kitchen, so I could see on the top shelves instead of just trying to feel around. My steps were slow as I walked upstairs and into my old room and it kinda felt weird being here now. I had so many memories here, my first crush, my first kiss, even the first time I snuck out and got caught. I was just coming back and because the ladder hit the side of the roof too hard, my dad woke up and was walking around with a baseball bat. I climbed back through the window, just as my dad came into my room to check and saw me, I was grounded for a month after that.    I opened my closet door, positioned the step ladders in front of it and climbed up, looking on the shelves. I knew I had left something there and as soon as I saw it, I reached for it and got it. It was the bracelet my mother had given me and she had said it was a special bracelet, but all I did was put it in the closest and left it there. I took it and hooked it around my wrist, I wonder if there is anything in the secret place I had. I tapped on the wall and a small door sprung open, yep, there was a box inside, but it wasn't there before. I took it out and then walked to my parents room, still carrying the box so I wouldn't forget it. I slowly looked around, making sure I didn't leave anything in their closet or bathroom and thankfully nothing was left. I walked downstairs, towards the family room and just stood in the doorway, looking down at the floor. I knew I shouldn't have come here, I walked a few steps inside and all I could see were my parents lying dead on the floor, every other memory I had in this room had been replaced by that single one. My tears came streaming down my face,I shouldn't be here, but I needed to do this, I needed to say goodbye. Suddenly I heard creaking noises, it was either the house or someone was here. I had this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach, something didn't feel right and I needed to get out of here. I rushed to the door, but it was wide open and I know for a fact that I locked it this time. What the hell is going on? I ran outside and down the driveway, but I could hear footsteps coming up fast behind me. I ran faster, as fast as I could and then I saw Katherines truck, she slammed on the brakes, her truck squealing to a halt.   "GET IN! GET IN!" Katherine screamed, I quickly jumped in and slammed the door shut, just as the one that had been following me came close by us. It was a man and his eyes were scary black pools of liquid.   Unknown P.O.V    I came back to the house just in case that b***h had been back here and left something, but the door was locked. I didn't bother locking it after the last time I was here, there was no point, she had already emptied the house. This was proof that she had been back here, I took the key out of my pocket, unlocked the door and opened it. I could smell that she had been here, but her scent was fresh so she had definitely been back here today. I took a few steps inside and made it to the bottom step of the stairs, causing it to creak. I heard someone crying and knew that someone was here, it was her, that b***h. Suddenly she ran out the front door, outside and down the driveway. I quickly followed after her, but I wasn't able to shift,  I couldn't, not out here in the open. I felt my wolf starting to take control, but it was too late as the other b***h pulled up and took her away. The b***h honked the horn at me as she drove past me and nearly hit me, just as I dodged out of the way. Those bitches sped off down the road and I knew they were going straight to the Red Moon Territory.   Casey's P.O.V    Katherine was speeding as fast as her truck could and we were nearly at the gates of the territory, the guards saw that we weren't slowing down and quickly rushed forward to open the gates.   "It's ok, rogue's can't get in here and even if he does the guards will kill him. Why were you there alone? You could have been killed, what were you thinking?" Katherine asked, raising her voice so I could hear over the wind rushing past us. I started crying and I couldn't stop, I didn't know what to say. Katherine stopped the truck and leaned over pulling me into a tight hug.    "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yelled at you, but you need to be more careful. The rogue's know that you know about werewolves. Come on, we need to talk to dad." Katherine said, managing to slightly calm me down, just as Jake arrived and hurried out of his car towards us.   "Are you ok? I felt you were scared and upset." Jake asked me, but I still couldn't say anything and I was crying so hard that even if I could speak, I don't think they would understand me.
