Aiden took two steps back. "Mandy, what are you trying to do?"
Mandy smiled faintly. "Never mind. I know now's not the time."
The audience stared at them, their murmurs growing louder.
"Man, I'm so jealous of Aiden. He managed to catch Ms. Harris's attention."
"Ms. Harris is gorgeous. And she built the Harris Group from scratch. She's one in a million!"
"You noticed she likes Aiden too, didn't you?"
"Of course! I'm not blind. How could I not see it?"
"But Aiden's so clueless. He doesn't notice anything. Poor Ms. Harris."
