CHAPTER 22 POLAR STAR “It’s bigger than I thought it would be,” Izzie Drake said to Ross as the pair approached the RO-RO ferry, Polar Star, its black hull and white upperworks, and large red and black funnel appearing to tower over them as it sat at anchor beside the quay. The company owner’s crest was clearly emblazoned on the main body of the superstructure. In short, it was a highly impressive vessel. “It’s certainly a good size for a ferry,” Ross agreed.
