Oscar Agostini sat behind his desk as he addressed Andy Ross and his senior team personnel, comprising Izzie Drake, Fenella Church, Paul Ferris and Derek McLennan, who took up virtually all the available space in his office.
“Okay everyone, the reason I’ve asked for this meeting is that in two weeks’ time, we begin interviewing for personnel to join the expanded team. I’m not putting you under any pressure, but it would be to everyone’s advantage if we could put this case to bed before we begin those interviews, which we’ll need you to participate in, Andy,” he addressed Ross.
“Oh, right, no pressure, just catch this bastard before you steal me away to sit behind a desk interviewing would-be recruits to the team,” Ross was grinning as he spoke.
