FIRST DESCRIPTION
Before the body of Betty Morton was removed from the scene, Police Constable Maggie Evans, the Family Liaison officer assigned to the case, arrived at the house, and was given a brief rundown of the events that had taken place by DS Church, who then showed her through to the living room, introducing her to Charlie Morton and Paula Simmons, leaving her to the job she was trained for.
Miles Booker and his Scenes of Crime team arrived and as soon as William Nugent gave the OK for the body to be removed and taken to the morgue, he and his people got to work, though, based on the first two murders, Miles wasn’t particularly hopeful of finding anything helpful to Ross’s investigation.
