A COUNCIL OF WAR
Soon after Church and Curtis returned to headquarters and after they’d reported to Ross, the inspector called an emergency briefing, having told everyone to stop whatever they were doing. This was going to be important.
As soon as the team was settled in the squad room, with much quiet muttering and speculation buzzing around the room, they were joined by Detective Chief Inspector Oscar Agostini, who Ross had asked to join them. Saying nothing, the DCI took a seat next to DC Gable, smiled at her, and sat back to listen to Ross’s words.
