Nil’s POV
“Nil, go straight to your room and take a rest. I’ll talk to you tomorrow.”
My mother was still wearing the same loving expression, but it was evident from her tone that she was only keeping herself from bursting out. I haven’t even spoken of what took place this afternoon, yet she already has a grasp of everything.
News sure travels fast, especially if it is a bad one.
I feel relieved but a little disappointed since the reaction that I was expecting did not even come to the surface. It was like my mother does not even care about what happened to me and all she wants now is to wrap up every single problem and be over with it.
