I stretched my arms as I stepped out of my car. It has been a whole nine months since the incident with Nancy and here I am back in full force in the city. I feel like a brand new butterfly fresh from her cocoon.
Nothing beats being a lazy woman in her late twenties and the unproductive rest that I had made me into a new person. Remembering how I laze around like a spoiled brat is truly a blooming experience.
An adult won’t be able to experience such bliss the second time around, so I savor every minute of my laziness until I become a total shut-in.
There is no better vacation than that.
