Rifkat is a young man of 22-23 years. At an age when he is supposed to dream about his life, to hold the hand of a young woman and wander in another colorful world with an unexplored future, he spends his time in the grip of the dark world. He understands that time will end soon. Rifkat is the unwanted consequence of the divorce of two adult man and woman in our decaying society. As the financial transparency and education rate of women increases, the divorce rate increases. Added to this is the harmful effect of the subculture infiltrating through satellite TV. There can be various reasons for divorce. The main reason is the disagreement between the two married men and women, a huge difference in expectations between the two, unnecessary interference from a third party and imaginary thoughts. No person in the world is acceptable in all aspects because it is not too late to be disillusioned after divorce. When a woman goes to live with another man with a child, she has to face a predicament.On the one hand, she has to think about his child and on the other hand she has to adapt to the new environment. As a result, she ends up alone. This situation also applies to a man. The most affected are children like Rifkat .In their new family, adapting, adapting to classmates in educational institutions, preventing them from expressing their anger and finally their harmful behavior. In society, two inconsiderate parents create Rifkat who enter the dark world and eventually ruins himself.But without taking this decision, the parents concerned could have sacrificed themselves thinking about their children. We have a short life. There is no benefit to anyone by complicating this life, but rather we invite more harms.I have brought up the incident because such incidents happen in our lives. We end up in the trap of life's glitter, good jobs and extramarital affairs and end overlooked a peaceful world, but we do not even think about the children we show the light of the world. A beloved child is not ruined, a child becomes disoriented due to disrespect. These children always suffer from mental unrest. They do not grow up normally. In a broken home, many children do not know about their real parents. But what parents need in life is sacrifice, mutual respect, and a mentality of adaptation. According to my knowledge, many children in this world have been ruined due to parental disagreements, even though they have done nothing wrong. How old was Esita when Shohag left Sonia? She must have been three years old.Esita used to watch her parents at that time.The three of them were moving around together,In Esitas mind full of memories of her parents.When Sonia was not there, Shohag would put Esita to sleep.Shohag would work around the room with Esita in his arms and used to make her sleepy.Esita would never forget those memories.The intimate relationship between a father and daughter.Esita will have to carry the memories to the rest of her life.During Shohag's illness Sonia visited him once.She stayed there one week.Shohag could not pay attention.He was fighting with the illness.Sonia stayed one week.As she was a working woman she had leave Chittagong., Shohag bought toys made of clay for Esita.One day he went to Dhaka on a official tour with his colleague.His college gave a phone call to brother in law of Sonia.Her brother in law replied,"Sonia is a pretty woman.She deserves a better life.Why should she wait for Shohag?"Shohag heard that Sonia left Dhaka for Toronto, Ontario with Esita.She settled in CN tower near Toronto island.Shohag returned to Chittagong, fully depressed.But Shohag had a strong determination that he must survive.He had no choice but to stay in Chittagong.His mother took him to a Psychiatrist.Shohag told the doctor his family disturbances .He didn't forget to tell the doctor that he had hallucination.The Psychiatrist prescribed him neuroleptic medicine.Shohag was familiar with neuroleptic medicine.He had to visit the Doctor once in a month.Gradually he recovered and continued his office.The hallucination became less severe, Shohag adapted to the new environment.He had routine jobs and also had developed habit of offering prayer.Life was normal.His colleagues were very compassionate and co operative.During Ramadan he tried to fast.But as he was a smoker he could not fast for the whole month.One thing he realised that Chittagong was a better place to live.A slow town with almost no traffic jam.Despite mild hallucination it was not difficult for Shohag to concentrate on official jobs.He took medicine everyday.After two years Shohag heard that Sonia returned from Toronto.Shohag went to Dhaka to see her.His daughter Esita was five years old then.Esita asked Shohag,"Can't you stay with us although it was too late". That was the last few words Esita told Shohag .He noticed there was drastic change in Sonia's behaviour.Sonia was keeping a distance.Shohag understood that Sonia was no longer his wife.Shohag came back Chittagong with a broken heart.It was loneliness that stood on the way of his day to day.Shohag decided to see a lawyer.The lawyer sent a legal notice to Sonia.The summary of the legal notice was "Since you are staying alone and also left country, this is a clear violation of marital law and therefore you are advised to come back to Chittagong".Few days later his lawyer received a divorced notice in reply.Sonia divorced him when she left Dhaka for Toronto.But Shohag didn't understand why they keep this divorce letter secret? What was their intention.But Shohag felt a sigh of relief after receiving this divorce letter. -8-
