“I knew you would see sense! I knew you would choose the better option eventually! You just needed a little push”
Desmond growls, but I grab hold of his arm refusing to let him go, she smirks at me as gavin pulls back and away from her.
“I was telling the truth but that son of a b***h is lying!”
Tate snaps, Hadleys face falls and she shakes her head looking at gavin
“What? No, no you promised!”
“Look I’m sorry, I really am but I’m not meant to be your mate!”
“How could you! How f*****g COULD YOU!”
She screeches, Tate grabs her and he tries to calm her
“It’s ok baby, I promise it’s ok, we will be ok”
“No I won’t ever be fine, I’ll never be fine when he’s alive and with HER!”
She screeches again, Tate wraps his arms around her and he gently moves her from side to side, kissing her cheek. Gavin turns and smiles at me, taking a step towards me.
“I’m sorry, forgive me?”
I smile back at him
“Already forgiven”
I whisper
“Yep, I was never mad at you, I’m just happy we get to love you”
Desmond says, I look up at him grinning, he ducks down and pecks my nose then he grabs gavin and he yanks him towards us. Gavin smiles pecking Desmond’s lips then he leans down to kiss me, I push forward but as our lips touch
“NOOOOO NO HADLEY DON’T”
Carter screams just as gavin gasps, his eyes opening wide as he looks at me in shock, his body going still just as Hadleys fist pushes straight through gavins chest.
Pain immediately spreads through my body as he falls to his knees, his eyes roll in his head as all the colour drains from his face. She pulls her fist back just as gavin drops dead on the ground infront of me.
The world around me stops, I could see nothing but blood as it poured from his chest, the pain in my chest increasing as the bond between us breaks, the pain so unbearable there were no words to describe it.
My future all dissolved in this very moment as I watch the love of my life die right in front of my eyes. I could hear nothing or see nothing other than a loud ringing noise. I was frozen in the moment, my heart shatters into a billion pieces before exploding in my chest and spreading throughout my entire body, leaving what felt like open sores all over my body, each filled with acid, infecting each cut and multiplying the pain by a million.
As I fall to my knees the world around me suddenly comes back into reality, only then did I realise the ringing sound was my scream, but hope fought past the pain, turning the scream into a roar as she shifts with more power than I had ever had before and I land right over gavins body as hadley falls back onto her ass.
Her eyes were wide as she looks at her hand and back to me, I could see the shock wear off as Tate stands there wide eyed, his fear potent as he watches me move, but before he could react I hear another loud screaming roar, this time it was Desmond as he jumps over hadley and he lands right infront of Tate.
I growl at hadley, stepping off gavins body as all hell breaks loose, people start screaming, running around as hunter and Dexter jump into action, trying to pull Desmond of Tate.
I ignored the noise and I go straight for her jugular, but before I could get the chance to rip her head from her body I’m hit from the side and thrown across the room
“I know you want to kill her! Damn I know you want to blow up the world but it won’t bring him back”
Carter tells me, I ignore him and I go straight for her again, this time she growls and turns as I stalk her, walking around Carter, she was on the opposite side getting ready to fight.
“How could you!”
Mum asks hadley sobbing, dad was shaking as he glared at my sister but that didn’t seem to faze her as she growls, advancing towards me.
I don’t hold Hope back, I wanted blood, I wanted her damn blood. We hit each other with equal force, and as soon as we are close Hope tears into her, grabbing her by the scruff of the neck and throwing her across the grass, then we immediately jump back in and this time I grab her leg, yanking her around, she tries to get up but honestly by now she has no chance.
I was going to kill her and I was going to enjoy it. I scream on the inside as I bite down on her side, pulling the flesh from her bone, she howls in pain but I go back for more not caring if I kill her.
I hear a roar, deeks roar and suddenly I’m ripped off Hadley and I’m on my back with a panting deek on top of me, his teeth around my throat as he tries to stop me, I growl trying to fight my way out of his grip and get back to killing Hadley but then his voice rings through my head
“Killing her wont bring him back”
Desmond tells me through mindlink, his words crushing me, the pain in each word hurt more than my own pain. My heart shattering again as I give up, hope howls in pain as our hearts shatter, deek howls back as my body slowly start to shift, hope giving up and crying in my head, as my body changes, Desmond changes too, landing on top of my body as I scream in pain.
Our entire life just changed, our world vastly different to how it was meant to be, the pain aching inside me, trying to burst free as my body trembles and shakes in shock. I could feel myself start to slip away, this pain was unbearable, so much worse than I could ever imagine.
I grab Desmond and I hold onto him with everything I had and I scream in pain as he sits up, cradling my body in his arms as he slowly tries to sooth me, but his own pain was just as overwhelming as mine. I’d never experienced anything like it before, my life was over.
I howl as the thoughts of my future dissolve, the past to painful to look at yet the pain of losing our future floods my mind, my body trembles and I scream into his shoulder, his own sobs rumble through his body as he holds me tightly:
Our merging pain was blinding, like nothing iv ever felt before. Our world forever changed and my heart forever broken.
I feel a blanket being placed on my back, I growl turning to glare at whoever it was. Anger rippling inside me when I see my parents!
“You made him stop me! SHE DESERVES TO DIE FOR THIS”
Mum covers her mouth and she sobs, nodding her head as dad holds her
“I’m so sorry!”
“No! NO YOUR f*****g NOT! IF YOU WERE YOU WOULD HAVE KILLED THE CUNT FOR ME!”
I scream back, wrapping the blanket around me. I bury my head in Desmond’s chest.
“Please baby, we are sorry, we are so so sorr”
“—-NO! no your f*****g not! If you ever give a s**t you would have stopped her! You would have seen this! You know how twisted and evil she can be and you let her run around and use my mates as collateral! So f**k you! f**k you all! Your all dead to me”
I snap, whimpering as Desmond lifts me off the ground and he turns
“No, please wait, we are sorr—“
“—MY MATE SAID NO! Now f**k of so we can grieve in peace, mum, dad get a car!”
“I can bring you home—“
