The first man shouts just as I fall forward in pain, The same pain in my chest as before. They were trying to rape her, pushing off the ground deek takes over and he pushes through the pain just as an ear aching scream comes from heartly.

I burst through the trees just as one of my warriors are flung through the air past me and smashed against a branch, the tree penetrates straight through his body, spilling his guts from his inside out, his trousers were around his ankles.

As I turn to find her she’s covered in blood, her hair was stuck to her face, her clothes were ripped from her body yet she stood tall with her head held high glaring at the now terrified girl and boy.

Both of them turn to run but as they do she lifts both of her hands and she uses her power to rip them back into the clearing, as she does that the trees and vines along the forest floor grow, closing the place off so nobody could get in or out.

Heartly’s POV

I needed to clear my head, I knew I was right but I also know they were terrified of hurting me and themselves. I needed them to trust me, I could feel it in my gut. I knew I was right, I knew it was always meant to be the 3 of us. But they had to figure that out themselves and me pushing it was doing nothing but pushing me further away from them.

I try to calm my racing mind as I walked, I just needed a minute to process it all.

“It will all work out, we just need to be patient”

Hope tells me, I nod in agreement heading into the forest to find my way back home. Deciding to take the long route I head towards the river, there was something so calming about the river, it always made me feel at ease.

But as we walked I could feel eyes on me, looking around I could see nobody but I could definitely feel them

“We should shift, I have a bad feeling”

I grab the hem of my shirt to pull it off my back just as something smashes me on the head from behind, I hear a loud crack before I have a chance to even react, I fall forward as my vision blurs.

My heart starts racing as I turn to see who was doing this, it was the man and woman from training and another I didn’t recognise.

They surround me as the woman kicks me in the ribs, I gasp as all the air is knocked from my lungs, before I have a chance to even take a breath I see her foot heading straight for my face, I flinch back trying to grab her foot but the man behind me grabs my arms yanking them back just in time for her foot to connect to my face.

I black out.

“Wake up. You need to wake up”

Hopes voice screams at me, I was in darkness, but as I focus in on her voice I’m hit with the pain, my head was pounding, my nose hurt and my ribs felt broken.

“Please heartly they are trying to assault you!”

Her words help me push through the pain to find her

“I’m trying, I can’t see but I’m trying”

“Just follow my voice, your out cold but I need you to wake up”

I do what I’m told, following her voice, the closer I get to her the more it hurt but I couldn’t let them do this to us.

“Good girl keep moving forward”

As I approach I’m stunned to see the light at the end of the tunnel, I can feel them beat me, I can feel there hands on me and I needed them to stop so I lunge forward, coming back into the world with a scream of frustration, as I do the force of the scream sends one of the men flying across the clearing and straight through a tree branch.

My body was burning all over, a mixture of anger and pain pumped through me mixed with adrenaline, it felt like I could lift a cow as all my power comes roaring to the surface like a lion.

I see the other 2 run. A wall within my soul shatters, an overwhelming force of power bleeds through my body with a bang, it was reacting before I even had the chance to focus.

Together Hope and I raise our hands catching the wind around them and I yank them back into the clearing with a scream.

The girl tries to run so I pull her back towards me and I use the earth around me to block her in, nobody could get out now. Vines fell from the trees above us, new trees sprouted from the earth's floor growing faster than I've ever seen it grow before, encasing us in a circle surrounded by thick brush, nobody could get out and nobody could get in.

The man falls to his knees with his neck bared, the girl cries as I turn her, I see from the corner of my eye that Desmond had found me, red faced and puffy he watches as I make her face me.

A roaring thunderous feeling rises from within my soul as I scream at her, as I do I grasp all the water within her veins and I slowly heat it up, she screams falling forward in agony as I boil the water within her blood, dissolving it painfully.

I watch as all the colour leaves her face, all the blood in her body starts to clot, making her have a heart attack and stroke. She falls forward onto her knees crying as I grasp onto the blood just as she’s about to die and I yank it out of her body.

Every vein in her body explodes outside her skin, the blood exploding from her skin, her bones and skeleton left behind made her look like a creature from hell itself. Her skeleton falls back onto her back dead.

I turn back to the man who’s face and body are frozen in fear, tears stream down his face as he slowly turns to look at me.

“I—I-I-I-immmmm s-s-sorryyy”

He whimpers, the fear he felt was potent, I could smell it as he shook

“You tried to rape a princess! What else would

you expect to happen?”

Hope roars through my lips, he sobs shaking his head

“I didn’t want to, I promise I didn’t”

I snort shaking my head and I grab the vine from behind him and I grow them up and around his body, he freezes as they slither around him like a snake, I twist them and turn them, coiling them around his body slowly, the urge inside me wanted him to suffer, to prove I could do this and prove that nobody would get off with doubting me.

I roar as I twist the vines around his throat, tighter and tighter, suffocating him, as they tighten his face goes bright red as I twist them, slowly snapping his neck and killing him.

As I do I drop the power as Hope lunges forward catching me as I collapse to my knees. I see Desmond’s face just as the pain disappears and the lights go out and my body goes limp.

Desmond’s POV

I had never seen anything like it before in my life, she executed them like a master of torture then she collapsed right infront of my eyes all while I held my breath in pure terror. I had waited so long for my life to start and suddenly when I had everything i've ever dreamed of it could end in a split second.

I run to her, skidding across the bloody grass on my knees, I grab her body and shake her

“Wake up baby, wake up”

She didn’t budge, I turn to look for Carly but she was nowhere to be seen so I grab her, lifting her into my arms so she was tight against my chest.

Running to the side of the clearing

“OVER HERE I NEED HELP NOW!”

I scream, hoping Carly was close by, she appears by my side wide eyed as she catches glimpse of the area behind me

“What the f**k did she do?”

“She protected herself! Heal her NOW!”

I shout at her not giving too f***s about the bastards that attacked my mate, she seems to shake herself out of her daze, coming to my side

“Sorry your right”

She grabs hold of heartly closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, she opens them a second later

“She’s lost too much blood we need to get her to the hospital”
