SILAS’S POV Game time. Focus, Bennett. Focus. The sounds of the crowd and announcer calling out the team’s entrance blared in my ears. Even with earplugs, the sound was deafening. At least my hearing isn’t completely gone, I thought bitterly. Gliding out onto the ice, my eyes instantly went to the VIP box, where I knew Aurora should be sitting. Sev had upgraded her and Maya’s tickets so they’d have great seats, and I could see her while I played. But instead of seeing Maya next to her, Lucas was there cheering. I gritted my teeth, racing over there to catch her eye. Stopping in front of her glass panel, I stood there, glaring. Lucas grinned and waved, but I ignored him, focusing solely on Aurora.
