“Anyone sitting here?”
I looked to see who asked since I didn’t recognize the voice. A man with shaggy brown hair and silver glasses stood before me. His blue eyes shone beneath his glasses, making him look kind. I smiled, looking around to see if I saw Silas, as class was just about to start. Did I care if he sat next to me? I looked up at the guy, smiling sweetly. “No one.”
He grinned, sliding into the seat. “Thanks. I wondered why I didn’t see your hulking bodyguard around, but I thought I’d take my shot since he was not here. I’m Charlie.”
