“It’s a pleasure to meet you,” Zane said, extending a hand with a toothy grin.
I looked down at his hand, which I took cautiously. Would he snatch me away to a dungeon-like Saron and my mother? Try to drain my blood and power from me? When Zane had insisted we meet him at his house, which was practically a mansion, we were initially hesitant until Rachel came up with the idea to take a picture in front of the house and send it to Wade to confirm our location.
