THEY HAD A SHORT choir rehearsal at home Thursday evening, followed by wine, cheese, and a presentation of photos from their trip to the UK. Once again, they packed the car on Saturday and left for the mountains immediately after church the next day. Bobby and Chad stayed behind to take care of the house and to show Ramsey around when he and his friend arrived.
When Donny and Joe showed up first thing Monday morning, they walked around the perimeter of the meadow and down to the gate with Tom and Noah, making notes along the way. Their two helpers were fairly knowledgeable about local flowering shrubs, pointing out existing stands of rhododendron and other species.
