Chapter 33
THE NEXT EVENING, Tom and Noah arrived at the door to the apartment at the same time as their hosts. “How did it go today?” Marco said.
“Splendid,” Tom said.
“Very well,” Noah said.
William and Henry were in the sitting room when they entered the apartment. “You guys look extremely relaxed,” Tom said.
“I should hope so,” William said. “We had a soak, a massage, and a long nap.”
“Sounds good.”
“If you guys won’t think us rude,” Tom said, “we’re going to go down to the baths so I can work out the kinks in my back. I’ve been hunched over a keyboard most of the day and I feel it.”
“Yeah,” Noah said, “and if you don’t mind, we’d sort of like to eat in tonight. When I get this close to a performance I tend to cut down on my intake a bit.”
