MARCO’S CELL PHONE rang, and he said, “It’s Sal.” He took the call, listened for a moment, and then turned to them. “By the time we get downstairs, he’ll be waiting for us.”
He and Dani led William and Henry down to the garage, and they stepped out of the elevator two seconds before Sal drove up. They were all clad in tuxedos for the occasion, and after they were dropped off at the main entrance to the concert hall, they proceeded slowly inside and up the grand staircase.
