Yacht Club Marina, Moloka‘i
The Yacht Club Marina was much smaller than Eva anticipated, and the Aggressor dwarfed the line of double-hulled ocean canoes around it. But as Eva and Sol stepped aboard, they found the vessel empty. That was strange. First no one showed up at the airport, and now no one was at the boat either?
Eva was instantly worried. She called her family, even called Thomas, but nobody answered. And her worry grew. She and Sol walked over to the yacht club to see if they knew anything, but it was closed. They then tried the small harbor’s office. It too was empty.
Eva knew her family had planned to go on a hike; maybe they just got held up? But after what had happened during the HURT 100, she couldn’t dismiss her fears that easily.
