Eva’s phone rang again. It was Axel. He had spoken to Sarah and confirmed that the dolphins were aboard the Bougainville.
“And that’s not all, boss. Jose is there too. He stowed away again. Sarah found him. She convinced the captain to let him stick around and care for the dolphins, and she said she’ll make sure Chief Navarro makes him all the smoothies he wants.”
“Did she say where they’re going? What they want with my dolphins?” Eva asked.
“I asked, but she doesn’t know. The Marines from before have been replaced with that EOD team led by Commander Gabbard. Apparently, the mission is so classified they can’t even tell her what they’re doing.”
