My off days went by too fast for me. I had requested a few days off due to me having to get my sons things together for school you know the physicals, clothes, shoes, and hair cut. I wasn't eager to get back to work. walking in at 7 am I knew I was scheduled for a double today just wanted my time to fly by. for the most part when the morning shift fly by because its so busy. When the morning shift was over at 3 pm I definitely went on a 15 min break. to call and check on my son. when I got done I walked in and saw Erin.

"How are you doing today?" he asked.

"I'm good cant complain.you?" I asked.

Good.. thanks for asking he said.

We walked in the building together and went separate ways.

when I got back to my area where I was suppose to be working I sat down. I'm at beast at my job and I finished everything in the first half of my shift. The only thing was to get a few people up from their nap.

one man, who always fighting was in bed and I knew if I got him up by myself he was going to swing and fight. so I waited for Mya to come. when she finally walked in she told me she wasn't working with me today but she'd help me get him up.

Erin walked in the rook behind her as I finished getting him dressed and offered to put him in his wheel chair seeing me and Mya struggle. it wasn't that we couldn't do it. just imagine someone swinging kicking and biting. But when Erin came in I was like he calmed down.

He put him in his chair and turned to me. " since I helped you, can I get the last 4 digits of your number." he asked with that fine ass smirk.

"what can you do with the last 4 digits?" I asked I was really confused. even though I only seen him 2 times I knew it was going to be hard to not want this man and worked with him. Especially when I wasn't getting any at home.

"That's all i can figure the rest out." he said. and I turned him down.

"Look, I appreciate the help but I don't know about that." I told him.

"you got a man or some?" he asked me and I froze for a minute

"I'm between jobs right now." was my response. I wasn't lying I mean my nigga was half way out the door.

He laughed. and said " well look I'm on the other side today wish me luck." I did so as he walked I couldn't help but stare.

I walked back to the living room with my resident started doing activities. after I got them dinner and put most of them back in the bed I sat and did some of their laundry. I was working with my best friend Fana. When I say two peas in a pod that was us. we was working with this girl Megan and she was cool too. it was going on 8 pm and not to put our business out there, we were drinking at work. I mean we didn't bring liquor into the job but we would sneak to my car and take shots. I'd give her a ride home.

Megan you'll be okay if me and Fana go to the store real quick I asked. then Fana added, Yeah I need some blacks and I don't want to walk to the store It's too dark.

all the managers left before 5 so we weren't worried about them. plus the job was sweet and lowkey.

she said it was fine that she didn't care. so we headed out. I text Mya and let her know it was time. soon as we reached my car she came walking out with Erin and they got in my backseat. we poured some shots and talked for a little bit while we sat in the car.

"Erin how you like it so far?" asked. trying to strike a conversation.

Then here go Mya, "girl f**k all that why you wont give my homie yo number?"

"b***h don't you got other s**t to worry about you two not even supposed to be in the same damn room you know Brit would kill you. That b***h got a GPS on that Pussy." I was referring to her and Fana. Everyone at the job thought they was f*****g but they wasn't. they didn't really talk to each other until today.

"Man f**k that b***h I went through her phone and she still talking to her baby daddy. I don't got time for that s**t for real." Mya said. I feel her I just said damn that's f****d up.

She than said " I got some for that b***h, but back to the topic. why he cant get your number? I know its not cause of that weak ass nigga you got at home. He's not on s**t Kaprii you deserve more. yo ass spend all day at work and go home and take care of a man that doesn't care about you."

She blew tf out of me I appreciate that she cares, just care a little less. "Damn My-My just put my business out there. he don't know me. we could've had that conversation in private. he don't need to know what the f**k I got going on outside this job. I don't put y'all business out there don't do that. And plus don't he got a b***h? he told us his first day."

Mya then says " you're right I'm not just going to put your business out, his b***h dumped him on his birthday. 2 days ago. she went on a trip to Alabama for 2 months to figure herself out so now he is single. awe and I gave him your number.

"DAMN MY. why the f**k you putting our business out like that. I said taking a sip out my cup. Wait you gave him my number why? I said getting nervous. It was the fact that that Roy goes through my phone and was super jealous when it comes to me.

Erin jumps in" Man f**k her, can I get a shot of that,"he asked referring to the liquor.

I gave him a cup of Remy.

Fana said " b***h I really needed them blacks can you take me to the gas station? she asked,and I did. I made sure nobody had to go back in before pulling off.

when we got to the gas station Mya said to Fana, "I got you baby what kind you like?"

I looked from Mya to Fana and gave Mya that look like b***h ion wanna be in the middle of that s**t when Brit find out.

she gave me a evil grin and I knew she ain't give a f**k about her b***h in that moment. Mya went in the store with Fana, leaving me and Erin in the car.

"I didn't know your birthday was the other day, Happy belated birthday. sorry to hear about your relationship." I said. Honestly I wasn't sorry at all. i didn't really care that he got dumped it just seemed like the right thing to say.

" yeah it was on the 31st. thank you. and I mean its cool. our relationship started to go left along time ago we both was cheating.Honestly I'm surprised we lasted this long. Don't be mad at Mya for telling me about you and you nigga. he doesn't deserve you. from what I hear you are a boss. you take care of home and you got a good head on your shoulders, if I was him I'd step up soon before somebody else comes in and take his spot."

"Is that someone you?" I said and we both just smiled at each other.

he gave me this sexy ass smirk that had me ready to risk it all. that and the liquor. I think it's the fact that this man is giving me attention and I haven't had that in so long.

" Any who, it wasn't her place to say anything I should've been the one to tell you about me no one else. that's my b***h but she cant be doing that. I know why she did it though." I said.

"so you would've told me about you and your nigga?" he asked.

"Naw just feel like I should be the one telling my own story.plus I don't pillow talk." I said.

Mya and fana walked back to the car.

"What you too love birds talking about." Mya asked.

"You ass b***h come on so we can go check on these residents." I said as they got in.

"Kaprii tell your friend to leave her nigga and come get with a real one. I can take care of her." Mya said talking about Fana.

Fana rolled her eyes, " Kaprii tell Mya when she leaves her b***h then we can talk".

"Nope we are not about to do that. I don't want to be in the middle of y'all love story. people already think y'all talk at this job. I'm cool with Brit and y'all. what y'all do don't have s**t to do with me." I said.

"If they think we talk already we might as well talk for real. s**t what's the worst that can happen." Mya said.

Brit was crazy as hell. I mean this b***h would spazz out in a heart beat if she felt like somebody was moving funny in her circle. I didn't want no parts. I'm cool with all them and I just don't want to be in the middle when the s**t hits the fan.

"man she not go find out. pour us another shot so we can go back in here." Fana said. I just looked at her because she had a nigga at home too. I poured shots and we took them before going back in.

when I got back to my station it was 9 o'clock. we was outside for a hour. I put the rest of my people in the bed and finished the laundry. around 9:30 Erin text me.

This Erin lock me in.

I hesitated but the responded. I got you.

when it was time to go Mya asked for a ride home and it wasn't a problem she lived 10 mins from me. only thing was I had to take Fana home too. we clocked out and said by to Erin. he asked for one last shot for the ride home and I gave it to him.

we got in the car and took off Blasting music and rapping the song. my future man was trying to race me to the expressway.
