Chapter Twelve – We Hold These Truth
There was an overwhelming consensus that things had to change. Membership in both parties decided it was obviously time.
Democrats reasoned: Republicans had elected a monster to the White House, the electoral college is a bad joke, time for real democracy, so bring the Constitutional Convention on. North Dakota gets the same number of senators as California, carried through fifteen percent of the country choose the majority of the Senate. Not even close to democracy. Abortion rights in jeopardy; the environment under attack; Black Lives do not matter. Enough is Enough. Bring it on.
