Gabriella's POV
Thanks to Karl's little threat, I sprung up from my sleep and started eating cake. The strawberry cake was delicious that I couldn't miss it. He had already changed into his night wear and sat close to me, with his laptop on his laps. I sometimes forget that he's the CEO of a company.
Since the building was ruined, there haven't been any movement at the company for the time being. Still, it's not able to stop his job. He could work from his laptop.
"Is it that sweet?" He asked me and I nodded with the spoon stuck in my mouth. I can't lie about the cake. It really was delicious and the strawberry that was in the cake was melting in my mouth each time I took a scoop.
