Karl, who had a disappointed look on his face when he left Gabriella's room, met Kate standing in front of the door. It's like she has been waiting for him to leave the room.
Karl frowned deeply but Kate didn't care much about how he felt or how he was feeling. If it were before, she would have been scared and careful. She would always do anything that'll not make Karl hate her. But, it's different now.
Everyone around the house were looking at her with pity. They saw her as a victim of what happened.
If it weren't for the NDA contract that was signed between the employees and Karl, the news of what happened would have spread around the country and his reputation would be ruined.
