Maybe Death Hurt Less Life
My friend and I went to a coffee shop to celebrate the conclusion of the midterm exams. The ambiance of the shop and our feeling of relief resembled, and the designs were so classical and relaxing. We seated and chatted for hours, enjoying every second of our time, and ended up talking about our purpose in life.  "Maybe death hurt less than life," he declared while looking at the people inside the coffee shop. That question provides me the time to think, reflect, and contemplate. I paused, and the silence was served at our table. I looked and observed the people around us, appreciating their intimate talks, genuine smiles, and endless laughs. After minutes of reflection, I disagreed with his idea. "Yes, life is full of pain, suffering, tears, and agony, and words that could break people's hearts. It's a mysterious realm that we venture to find ourselves. It is true, death could indeed stop the pain you are feeling every time you are alone and sad. But is it more painful dying because of giving up so early for yourself and neglecting another chance to live your life on your definition? Do you want to leave the world not being able to build your dreams, dance with your passions, and laugh at the stupid moments you spent with the people you love? Yes, life could be more than the description of pain and darkness, but it provides as a tomorrow to look forward to, another day to face anything we feared and neglected. And a tomorrow where we could see our worth and value by embracing our failures, mistakes, flaws, and who we are, and appreciate ourselves for things we already have achieved. Life is painful and unfair because it's made to be that way. But you are different, you are made to surpass everything. We can't be here celebrating if we give up without a fight." I paragraphed. After my statements to him, he replied, " Thank you for filling in, now my cup is full of tea."
