Reading books of any kind is a form or type of outlet. It lets you escape reality for a short while and daydream of making it possible. I've read a lot of them especially, romance. We girls simply want to be loved unconditionally, spice things up once in a while, have surprise dates, someone to talk to, and cuddles to help you recharge to go through the day.

Oh, the dream, but what's this!? I woke up somewhere I don't know, taken as a slave treated as a laborer with little food and rest. Animals are, treated may better than this! Now, pushed into marriage, humiliated left and right, treated like some kind, of a schemer and a gold digger when I don't know s**t about them outside my books.

This is one of the few things you should know about us readers. We have creative minds we, usually use it for daydreaming and work when it's needed, but rarely too rarely used for coming up with ideas to get back at people. When we do, it's locked up in our heads, and never act upon them.

However, when you're in another world and have been strung along by for other people will? Then it is different, I have to get back my life in this new place or even spice things up along the way. I'll learn to be a schemer if I have to. This is going to be awkward for trying to be someone I'm not, but I'll be okay, right? I mean, I have countless books for reference?

Unknown woods
For years, I've been a reader: webtoons, novels, and fanfictions; it's my only outlet in my everyday mundane life. It's dark, cold, and I'm hungry; where is this place? I'm trying to find my way into this forest? Seems like it. I feel the grass under my feet. Well... One of my feet? I lost a shoe. The smell of fresh air in this open field; hard to tell it's too dark. It was quiet but not for long. I heard screams, then rusting sounds in the bushes not far from where I was. People running towards me? No... They're running past me. What is going on? People are running away, but why? One of them saw me and stopped and said, What are you doing? Don't stop! Keep running. We've made it this far! Run?  Me?  You want me to run? Sweetie, I'm a reader, not a runner. That I wanted to say but, I'm too much of a wuss to open my mouth. Hey! We don't have time to rest, don't you want to escape? Escape what? Finally finding my voice. The stranger finally looked at me properly and gave me a once-over.  You're not from here... I heard the stranger say in a whisper. Now it's my turn to give the stranger a once over... Dressed in rags? Or is that a potato sack cut out to make it look like a dress? Well, she looks good even in that outfit. Is there a play going on? Cause if there is, I'll move out of the way and watch from the sidelines, I don't want to cause any trouble. What the hell are you saying? Running away to save your life is not a play! Let alone a game! I heard men's voices. The female stranger said 's**t, if you want to be caught, then be my guest' and ran away, leaving me. A man's voice said, this way! I heard voices. What am I doing? I should hide. I don't know what is going on, but staying here seems to be a bad idea. I went to where the female stranger had gone. If I knew running was a requirement to get yourself out of trouble, I would've signed up for a class or two. There is one! A man said. The next thing I know, something caught my leg and I'm in pain after falling over HARD! Arg. The right side of my body is going to be black and blue tomorrow. I tried to stand up but something was pressing on my back. I turned my head and a man was stepping on me. You little rats think you can run away!? Well, you have another thing coming. He had a machete in one hand and a torch in the other. Who uses torches these days? Have you ever heard of a flashlight? Scamper! They should not be far from here, the man said. The rest of the men complied with the command. The man grabs me by the hair to pull me up. Ahh!! I tried to free myself but he was too strong. He looked at my face and said," You must be new. I don't recognize you. Plus, you look good and clean to be one of them. Who are you? What are you doing here? I kept silent and he said. Not talking are we? Then I'll make you talk. He pulled my hair again, this time upward, and I could barely keep myself up without losing balance. With his free hand after sticking the torch to the ground, he pulled my blouse open, exposing my chest. I'll have fun with you before you become one of them, he said. His hand made contact with my skin and before I knew what was happening, one of my feet flew to his right shin. He loosened his grip on my hair. I ended up slipping, which was a good thing as he swung his machete to where my next was a second ago. s**t! I could have lost my head then. I tried to stand up but he grabbed my ankle, pulling me closer to him. When I was close enough, I bent my knee towards me and blessed his jewels as hard as I could. He screamed in pain, dropping the machete on the grass to grab his crotch. I stood up but found my ass again on the grass when he swept his left foot under my legs. How! I busted his quail eggs! He shouldn't be able to move. From far away, I heard screams and sounds of protest. I let myself get distracted, which was a bad idea given my situation. He found his bearing and with his right hand swung it on my face and everything went black.
