Tab entered the bathroom in her swimsuit. She had obviously been embarrassed walking around in it as her face was a shade of red. It quickly dissipated when she saw who she was supposed to bathe. All over his torso were what appeared to be spiral iron burns similar to a branding. “Who gave you those?” “Crow” answered matter-of-factly, “The Hunters. Some of them cursed me with their dying breath.” Tab took in a bit of air. It couldn’t have been us. Her face appeared saddened, “Crow” couldn’t help but feel a little guilty. “I don’t know for sure if it was them,” He couldn’t stop himself from speaking, “it’s just my and Zexal’s theory.” The sad look didn’t leave her face. Chapter 28 White was at school again, thinking about that nerdy boy he had helped from the two bullies. Did I do something wrong in the past? He then remembered who those bullies were. Back in elementary school, they had made fun of Crow. Crow was always nice to everyone, no matter what. However, some children can be cruel. They had confronted Crow while White was busy playing football with some other kids. White could never forget that cry. One of them punched Crow in the arm when a TA, a Teacher Assistant, wasn’t looking. He punched him pretty hard. Crow simply let out a small cry, then held it in. He didn’t want to inconvenience anyone. That small cry was all White needed in order to run over to where Crow was and see the two kids surrounding Crow. He threw logic out the window and ran screaming mad. When the two weren’t intimidated by it and simply turned their attention to the kid running at them, Crow knew what was coming. He tried calling out for White to stop, for fear that he would severely injure the bullies. White ignored it, pushing the one to Crow’s left down and jumping on top of him to lay in punches to the child’s face. Crow had grabbed his arm and pulled him off. “Stop it!” he yelled as he clutched him in his arms. White had continued to thrash in his arms, “let me go! He needs to get what he deserves!” He threw his head back, knocking the back of his head against Crow’s face. Crow was thrown off and landed on his back against the miniature rocks, still clutching his little brother in his arms. When the TA’s finally came over to see the commotion, they had torn White out of Crow’s arms and sent him to the office. Crow was sent to the nurse’s along with the kid lying on the floor. Crow had a bloodied nose, while the kid had teeth knocked out of his mouth. Now that White had thought about it, he was the more athletic one while also being the more aggressive. Suddenly, the ringing of the intercom interrupted his thoughts.
