“Attention: Currently there is an active shooter on the premises. Teachers are advised to lock the classroom doors and follow procedure. Students are not allowed to leave or enter the premises until this situation is resolved. Any students who are not in the classrooms are advised not to enter the halls. Police are on their way.” The boy with silver hair exited the restroom. He wore all black, complete with black boots. He had his knives sheathed at his outer thigh and lower back, just above his buttocks. He didn’t plan on using the knives, but if worse came to worst, he would be forced to. He kept his body low, and avoided making any sound as he moved. He hid behind the little trees in their pots and looked through their leaves for the shooter. He heard the shooter walking up the stairs, a semi-automatic handgun grasped in his right hand. With his left hand he held it steady. His eyes darted everywhere, he was looking for specific targets. He left the main hallway and made his way to one of the hallways the classrooms were in. That was when the silver-haired boy made his move. He silently followed, ensuring to avoid the shooter’s line of sight. I think this kid’s going after whoever’s bullied him. The boy kept examining the shooter from a distance, determining if this was truly his will or if he had been possessed by a minor demon who had lulled him into unleashing his desire. The shooter kept his weapon high, his finger on the trigger, getting ready to squeeze. He was tense, any sound might set off his wrath. The boy took a deep breath, preparing to risk his life. He got out of hiding, and made quick steps to close the gap between him and the shooter. When the shooter sensed a presence approaching, he quickly turned and readied himself to open fire. Only he didn’t get the chance. The shooter turned to the boy, one eye bloodshot and black marks near it. The boy quickly slapped the gun out of his direction toward the floor. An Ira?! Seriously?! He knocked the shooter down on the floor and placed a foot on his right arm, holding it down. He placed his hand on the shooter’s chest to hold the rest of him down. “Listen to me, kid. You have to reject this demon’s will. No matter what he’s promised you, I can guarantee that you won’t be present to experience it. If you do this, you will no longer exist!” Ira demons were minor demons that took over a host’s body when they felt extreme wrath. They waited until the wrath was cultivated into an urge to kill. As soon as the host wished to kill, Ira demons made their appearance, promising that it would be pleasurable. However, what they don’t tell their victims is that their soul will end up being consumed and the demon will keep control of the body and go on to be serial killers. “He won’t listen.” a raspy voice escaped the shooter’s lips, “he wants those bullies dead!” The silver-haired boy turned his attention to the tainted eye, “I don’t think I was talking to you now, was I?” His voice was angry, and his eyes flashed a hue of red before turning back to their mundane color. “You think that scares me, Hunter? You only got those eyes from your enhancement!” The raspy voice continued. The silver-haired boy turned to the shooter’s brown human eye, “Listen here, that demon will only take over your body after you kill those bullies of yours and begin killing the rest. Is that what you want? To lose your humanity and have some other creature control your body for s*******r?” “N-No… That can’t be true!” A wimpy, human voice spoke, “He promised me freedom from my problems!” “At the cost of your soul! Can’t you see that he’s twisted his words?” “Is that…” “No, no, he’s human, he must be lying.” The raspy voice rebuked shakily. The silver-haired boy moved his free knee over the boy’s chest to hold it down, “if you don’t, then I will be forced to slay the demon and you along with it. He pulled the knife from his thigh out and pointed it at the shooter, “decide now. Reject the demon and purge it from your body now, or don’t and die along with it.” The human eye opened wide at the ultimatum, “I reject the demon! Please spare me!” The tainted eye began to clear up, along with the dark marks around it. “Smart decision.” Black miasma began to escape the shooter’s mouth. The Ira Demon was set loose and would be looking for another host to possess. “Oh, no you don’t.” The boy grabbed the Demon from within the miasma and cut it in half, effectively destroying it. The shooter simply lied on the floor, catching his breath. The boy sat beside him, waiting for the police to arrive.
