Distractions

We slept for a few hours before our alarm woke us up. I tried to stretch but Sebastian was hugging me tightly. I pushed him away as I said seeing his eyes open, "I'm not your body pillow. " He smiled as he pulled me closer then said, "I'm your blanket." I began to laugh then said as I finally got away from him, "Can we go see Evanna?" He got up and said as he grabbed his towel, "Sure. We can take you on my motorcycle." I looked at him confused then said, "You have a motorcycle?" He chuckled at my expression then said, "You'll enjoy the ride." I smiled as I started walking to the door. He entered the bathroom as I left the room. 

I made breakfast while Sebastian took a shower. Larsen entered the kitchen then said, "Where are will you two be going?" I smiled then said as I served him a plate, "We are going to see Evanna." He smiled then said, "That will make her happy." I smiled but before I could say anything I felt a strong urge to kill. Larsen got up and ran outside but before he could try to pinpoint the intruder the urge was gone. I walked up to him then said, "I want you to come with us." He shook his head then said, "I have to stay and help protect the school." I sighed then said, "Then will you drink my blood and make a pact with me?" He frowned then said as he took a step away from me, "Why do you want me to do that?" I took a deep breath then said, "I want to keep you safe and if anything happens that you are in danger I will know." He let out a deep sigh then said, "I think I can manage." I looked around then said, "You remind me of my father." He froze then said, "What do you mean?" I turned away to him then said as I started to walk away, "You have the same cold attitude but at the sametime you let me see your warm side." He didn't say anything but I could feel his aura turn warm then he said, "Fine." I turned to him a bit shocked by his reply then he said, "I hope I won't regret this." I walked up to him then gave him my hand which he took then sank his fangs into my vein. He took a gulp before falling on the floor writhing with pain. I quickly knelt by his side but as quick as the pain started it vanished. He had his eyes closed then said as he opened them slowly, "I can distinguish shapes and colors. I feel like a younger version of myself." I lot out the breath I was holding then said telepathically, 'This is what I mean by forming a pact.' His eyes widened then he replied, 'I can't believe what you can do.' Sebastian and Usagi added, 'You are now one of her loyal servants and will protect her to the death.' My sad facial expression made him feel bad so he said trying to cheer me up, 'Even if I did not make this pact I would have protected you to the death.' I gave him a smile then said, "We should go back." 

We entered the cabin as Sebastian was coming down the stairs. Once he saw us he said, "Did you guys go for a walk?" Larsen said as he sat on the sofa, "Yes, we went to walk a bit before starting to eat breakfast." I gave Sebastian a smile as I said, "We should hurry before it gets late." He nodded then Larsen said, 'Have you made a pact with him?' I continued to smile but relied a bit annoyed, 'No, he is different.' Larsen smiled then said, "I'm going to rest in my room for a bit." He left and Sebastian and I ate breakfast as he told me that the ride was going to be noisy. After eating we went upstairs to get out stuff before leaving. Sebastian and I walked to the school and as we entered John said, "What are you two doing here?" I looked at him then said, "I have something to do and will be back in a few days." He frowned at my words then Sebastian added, "I will be taking Era to where she needs to go. I was approved by Larsen, Headmaster." He gave us a suspicious look an in return I glared him down which intimidated him. He nodded his head then said, "Come back soon." Sebastian nodded his head then we left. 

In the main parking lot of the school there were a few cars. I followed Sebastian as he made his way to a motorcycle near the front of the parking lot. I said as I saw him get on it, "This is your motorcycle." He smiled then said as he handed me a helmet, "Put this on and get on." I smiled as I put the helmet on then got on. He said as he grabbed my hands and wrapped then around his waist, "Hold on tight and follow everything I do." I hugged him tight then said, "Like this?" He turned his head slightly to show me a grin then said, "Just like that." As he turned it on and was going to pull out from the parking space a woman said, "Where are you going, Sebastian?" I looked at her and she gave me a glare before walking up to us and saying, "Where are you going without me?" He was tense and annoyed by this woman but managed to say calmly, "That would be for me to know." I smiled and she walked up to me then said angrily, "Why are you smiling for?" I rolled my eyes but before Sebastian could do anything she grabbed me by the shoulders and pulled me from the seat. My eyes turned red and I said as I grabbed her by the neck, "Do you have a death wish?" Her body began to tremble and she was crying uncontrollably which made my anger calm down a bit. I sighed as my eyes returned to normal and I said as I looked at her in the eyes, "You will forget what just happen. You didn't see us at all, understood?" She nodded as her body calmed down and she walked away. Sebastian looked at me surprised then said, "That is a very handy power to have." I smiled then said, "But my temper is not the best." He said kind of ashamed, "You managed to handle better than me." I gave him a smile then said, "Let's go." I got back on and we left.

The cool air, the roaring sound of the motorcycle and the warm sun on my face made me feel good. I held tightly to Sebastian and he would chuckle every time my embrace became tighter. The sun began to go down and he took an exit to a hotel. As he parked he said, "Is this hotel okay?" I looked around then said, "It's fine." I began to stretch and move around slowly feeling my sore muscles relax. He laughed at me seeing how stiff I had become. I gave him a playful glare but was soon gone as he hugged me and gave me a gentle kiss. I blushed then said, "Let's go inside." He smirked but took my hand before saying, "One bed or two?" I gave him another playful glare and as he walked to the registration desk he said to the only staff there, "Can I get a one bedroom?" He shook his head then said, "Please give me your ID and card." Sebastian pulled out his wallet and gave him what he asked for then the man said, "General Sebastian, enjoy your stay. If you need anything let us know." He nodded then said, "Thank you." As we walked to our room I asked, "What was that about?" He smiled then said, "When they as for ID and you give then a human ID then they will treat you as a human but when a vampire enters here they get special treatment." I frowned then said, "That's not very fair." He said as he pushed the elevator button, "It is because humans and vampires don't really get along." I understood his point of view then said, "I guess you are right." He smiled then gave me a kiss as the elevator door closed. 

We arrived to our room and it was luxurious. I said to him as he began to take his shoes off, "Why a big room?" He smiled then said, "They probably thought you were my wife." I rolled my eyes then said as I sat on the bed, "Well, I don't mind with a bed like this." He smiled at me then said, "Do you want to go take a shower?" I layed on the bed then said, "You go if you want. I need to rest a bit before I accidentally drown." He laughed then said, "Well then I will use it first." He took his bag and entered the bathroom. I layed on the bed thinking of how the ride was exciting and could not wait for tomorrow to keep going.
