Family

The next morning I woke up to Larsen saying, 'Sorry to have woken you but I find that the cabin is being stalked a lot since you left.' I sat up then said, 'Why would someone want to monitor the cabin when I'm not there?' He replied, 'I'm not sure but I think it is John.' I sighed then said, 'Keep an eye on him and tell me if any strange person comes to him.' He said, 'Yes, I will.' 

I got up and went to the bathroom to take a shower. When I was out of the bathroom Sebastian was just getting up. I said as I walked towards the closet, "Good morning." He smiled then said as he got up to stretch, "Good morning." I entered the closet and began to get dressed when he walked in then said, "Are you going to take down the barrier today?" I turned to him and was a bit surprised by his question then said, "Why do you ask?" He sighed then said, "I can feel how tired you are." I sighed then said softly, "I want us to be safe while we are here especially since the attack was from that man." He walked to me then said, "You saw him?" I nodded my head then said, "I managed to control myself from chasing him and trying to kill him for the sake of everyone." He hugged me then said softly, "I'm so glad you managed to do that." I hugged him back then said, "If the gates are finished by today or tomorrow I  will remove the barrier." He said as he let go of me, "I hope they are done soon. Now, I'm going to take a bath. I'll meet you downstairs." I nodded then said with a smile, "Yes, now let me get dressed." He kissed my forehead then left as he chuckled and gave a look at my body. 

As I walked down the stairs Usagi said, "Good morning, My Lady." I smiled then said, "Good morning. I need to talk to you and Claude about something." He looked at me confused then said, "Now?" I nodded my head then said, "Bring him and I will be waiting in the dining room." He nodded and as he left I felt excited. I walked to the dining room to find Darius reading a newspaper while he sipped on coffee. I looked around but did not see Evanna so I asked, "Where is Evanna?" He put the paper down then said, "She is trying to figure out what to do about lunch since we have a guest coming over." I smiled then said, "She's such a considerate Queen." He gave me a smile as I walked towards the kitchen. 

 As I entered I heard her asking, "What would be a good lunch?" I crept behind her then said, "Anything they make will be excellent." She jumped hearing my voice so close to her then she said as she looked at me, "Don't scare me like that." I smiled then said, "Who is the guest?" She sighed then said, "He is Lord William and his son Vincent." I said, "Where are they from?" She said with a worried look, "I'm not sure." I laughed then said, "Let's go see if Darius knows then maybe we can make adequate lunch arrangements." She sighed in defeat and followed me back.

We entered and saw Darius, Usagi, Claude and now Sebastian in the dining room. I walked to the table and took my seat. Sebastian and Evanna followed me too. I said to Calude and Usagi as I pointed to some empty seats, "Claude and Usagi, come take a seat." They looked at me shocked then Usagi said, "We are fine standing." I sighed a bit nervous at what I was about to say but said, "Please take a seat." They looked at me hesitantly then Darius and Evanna got up. Usagi and Claude looked at then with shock and a bit of fear but I said, "I want to talk to you about something important." Their attention returned to me then Claude said, "We can talk like this." I sighed seeing that they would not listen unless I explained it to them accordingly. I got up and took Sebastian's hand then said, "I want to ask that your family becomes part of mine." They looked at me shocked and confused then Claude said, "Why? We are fine the way we are now." I sighed once again then Darius said, "You see, all the family we have is now standing in this room. We don't mind having more." They looked at him then Evanna added, "Your family has served us for many years or even decades. Now with the union of Aarraa and Sebastian we just want to make our family grow." They had a hesitant look then I said as Sebastian looked at me, "I love Sebastian so much. I want to get to know him and his family. I want to be surrounded by people that not only love me but are loyal to me." Darius added with pride, "I am very glad that it was Sebastian who was her fated mate. Your family has never been disloyal and you have one of the best reputations. No nobleman or Prince could have the reputation or respect that your family has." I smiled hearing those words then Sebastian said, "Dad, she wants to keep us as a whole family not separate us." Claude sighed then said, "I understand but all we have ever known is how to protect and be loyal to this family." Sebastian nodded his head then I said, "If you want to keep protecting and being loyal that's fine. All I ask is that you spend time with us as family, come eat and talk casually." They sighed seeing that we were not going to take no for an answer. Usagi said, "I will agree." Claude looked at him then said, "She made her point and now she has persuaded us." I smiled then hugged Sebastian before giving him a kiss. 

Evanna, Darius, Claude and Usagi sat down as Hanna came with some maids to give us our food. I said to Hanna, "Please bring two more plates from now on." She nodded then left with the maids to get the plates. I said to Usagi in order to make the atmosphere more calming, "I see that you and Hanna have become an item, Usagi." He said trying to keep the blush he had from being too noticeable, "Who would have thought she was my fated mate?" Darius looked at him surprised then said, "How did you not know? You two practically work together all the time." Usagi laughed lightly then said, "I was as surprised as you are." Claude said, "I think this only happened because he looked at her as a woman rather than another acquaintance." I looked at him confused then he said with a smirk, "You see, when she was mugged the men tried to r**e her too but Usagi arrived to her aid as they were about to grab her. He beat them to a pulp and brought her home in his arms." I covered my mouth then said, "You should have killed them." Usagi nodded then Claude said, "Calm down. He made sure the police knew that they had attacked her and that she was one of the Queen's servants so the punishment is death." I sighed then said, "You are a real gentleman." Usagi smiled then said, "All I wanted was to get her home and checked by the doctor as soon as possible." Sebastian said with a smirk, "I never knew this side of my uncle." Usagi was now red and we all had smiles.Hanna returned with the plates and seeing her made him blush even more. I saw how Hanna's face began to turn red seeing his reaction. I wanted to sit her down but decided that one argument was good enough for the morning.
