Hellhounds

Hanna left us to eat and we talked about minor things. When we finished Sebastian asked, "Is the gate finished?" I gave him a light glare but he ignored it as he waited on a reply from his father or uncle but Darius replied, "Yes, it was finished before breakfast. I forgot to let you know since we got caught on family matters." He smiled at the last sentence and I said, "Well, let's go inspect it before I can take the barrier down." He nodded then we all got up. 

We made our way to the front gate and I looked at the finished gate and Darius said, "I asked that it be made of reinforced steel." I said as I looked at the gate, "This should work." Usagi added, "We should get dogs as well." I smiled then said, "How about hellhounds?" They looked at me worried and I said, "They are loyal and very deadly also they won't get killed quickly." Evanna said with a worried look and shaky voice, "They are very hard to control." I smiled then said, "I think they will be better than any other dog." Claude sighed then said, "You may be right but like Lady Evanna said they are very hard to control." I frowned then said, "Can we go see some?" He shook his head then said, "Sure but we have to be very careful." I smiled then Sebastian said, "This trip is not going to be fun." I smiled then said, "You guys can stay, I can manage with Claude or Usagi." Usagi said as he crossed his arms, "You really don't know where you are going." I gave him a confused look then said, "Where are we going?" Evanna sighed then said, "You will be visiting the demon realm. I on the other hand can't go since I will have lunch guests." I sighed remembering then said, "We can go after they leave." Claude rubbed his temple then said, "We can't go there during the night." I covered my face with my hands to hide my frustration then Sebastian said, "One of you two can come with us." Usagi said, "I will go and Claude can stay to observe the security." I removed my hands from my face then said, "If we leave now would we return soon?" Usagi looked at his watch then said, "We might be able to return before the guest arrive." I nodded my head then said, "We will leave now." Evanna gave me a smile then said, "You are too protective." I smiled then said with a hint of sadness in my voice, "I don't want to lose any more family." She gave me a hug then we made our way to the car.

Usagi drove and Sebastian was in the front seat. I was sitting in the back looking at my phone trying to relax my anxiety from leaving them alone. Sebastian broke my train of thought as he said, "We are almost there." I moved up from my seat to look at them then said as I rested my head on Sebastian's shoulder, "How do you know about this place, Usagi?" Usagi smiled as he kept his eyes on the road then said, "Your mother's mother, your grandmother was a well known witch and she had a few hellhounds in her possession but since your mother was not able to use magic she ended up having to send them away. The place we are going to is where we had to leave them but they also breed them there." I smiled then said, "Can we get puppies?" Usagi laughed then said, "There are no hellhound puppies." I frowned then Sebastian said, "According to the text books in the school they are born like a normal dog or wolf but they become adults in minutes." I sat back in my seat then said, "I know nothing." Larsen added to our conversation, 'You will learn soon.' I smiled then Sebastian said, "what the hell?" I smiled then said, "Sorry, I forgot to tell you that I shared some of my blood with Usagi, Claude and Larsen so they ae linked to me but since you are now my mate you can hear them." Usagi was hold his laughter seeing Sebastian surprised then said, "We are here." I said to Larsen, 'Keep me posted of what is going on there.' He replied, 'Yes and let me know about these hellhounds. I find them a very fascinating species.' I shook my head then Sebastian said, 'We will talk to you later.' I smiled then we got out of the car.

We were in a small town that seemed to have regular people at first glance but their eyes were a yellow color. Usagi said as he gave us cloakes, "Put these on and hide your hair. Everyone knows about Pure Bloods and demons can recognize them immediately." Sebastian and I put them on then I said, "What would happen if they found out?" He said, "Well they won't fight you if they know you are powerful but if not then I'm not sure." I laughed then said, "Well let's hope we don't find out." He nodded then he out a cloak on too. I asked him put it on, "Why are you putting it on?" He said as he looked at us, "It would be weird if only you two wore them." Sebastian said with amusement, "That's true." I shook my head then Usagi said, "Let's go." We followed him closely and avoided all eye or physical contact with the demons. 

We entered a building that seemed like an animal shelter but instead of animals there were different kinds of creatures. As Usagi walked up to the counter I looked around then my gaze was caught by a red eyed, black furred wolf like creature. I took a step towards it but before I moved closer Sebastian grabbed my arm. The creature gave a low growl then quiet down as he notice someone look at it. I looked at Sebastian then said, "I want him." He said as he walked us to Usagi, "We have to wait for Usagi." I turned to look at it and saw it looking at me closely. Usagi said to the man in the counter, "We are here to get hellhounds." The man laughed then said, "You come at a bad time. We sold most of them and the ones we have left are very aggressive. They seem to be a pack of hellhound and wild wolf mix." I looked at him then said, "I want him." I pointed to the creature that was watching me intently then he said, "That is the leader and he tends to kill who ever wants him." I said as I looked at him in the eyes, "I want him." Usagi looked at me then said with a sigh, "What should she do if she wants that creature?" The man smiled then said, "If she wants that ne then I suggest that she try to tame it here before he runs lose out there." I looked at it fiercely then said, "I will do that. If I am unable to control him then you can kill him like you planned." The man gave us a shocked look as he asked, "How did you know?" Usagi replied, "You just said you had no idea what to do with it so we assumed you wanted it dead since it was not useful." He nodded his shock now gone then said, "We have a barrier in the main plaza where we take the hounds to fight. We can use that place to see if she can tame it." Usagi nodded then we followed the man as he said to someone else, "Take care of this place while I take care of this business."
