Jaycee said she had something important to tell me. And it's crazy how the thought never left my mind. I wanted our class to end so I could immediately talk to her again. What if she's pregnant? It has always been my dream to have a family with her. I've been praying for that for years!
When I went outside, it was only Curtis standing close to the entrance.
"Where's your friend?" I asked him.
He looked annoyed. "He's not my friend," he hissed. "He's getting your car."
"That's also part of your job? I can walk properly. Can't you just let me go by myself next time?"
"Okay." I didn't expect he'd agree. "We'll go with you on a different vehicle."
I gave him a nod
