Lucy kept running and realized she wasn't getting tired. She wasn't running out of breath and she didn't need to stop. Her new muscles and vampiric strength moved with her and never faltered. Lucy smiled at the thought. She loved the power. She ran until she was off campus again and followed her feet to her old apartment. It was at least five miles away but that was nothing for her now. Now that she had the strength and stamina of a vampire.
She kept running down the familiar streets and turned down into the apartment alley. The place seemed mostly abandoned at night. Everything was quiet and there seemed to be less cars around. Lucy had never seen it so lonely.
She kept going until she hit her old apartment building and stopped in front of the side she used to look out from. She could
