"Fine" he said, deflating. But I noticed the smile he was trying to hide and grinned. His hero worship for Melissa was adorable.
"Alright, bye guys" I said and exited the room. I returned to find Xavier exactly where I'd left him.
"Okay I need to change real quick" I said. He nodded with a smile.
I went into the bathroom, groomed and then slid on the baggy shorts, tube top and flannel shirt I grabbed out of the closet before coming into the bathroom. When I was done, I exited and slid on my sneakers. I knew this wasn't exactly classy breakfast wear but this was my usual style and I didn't want to overdress only to meet them in pyjamas. It was breakfast after all.
I nodded toward Xavier. "I'm ready to go" I said.
He smiled and hopped out the window. I was about to join him
