I have been back from the hospital for over a week now. Mom invited Lesede over for dinner tonight, I'm hoping I can have a chance to talk to her. Gramdpa has been on my case about not messing up and have a child as soon a possible. Using words 'if she can love since childhoon til now, you can also chase after her as much'. I wasnt even sure she loved me, I had feelings for her in our teenage years but I didn't want to mess our friendship if things didn't work out. A lot of good that did seeing I messed them out anyway. I was done dressing up in blue jeans, black polo shirt and sneakers for our walk after dinner if she agrees.

Whe I got downstairs mom wished me luck, it was like everyone knew what I had planned before I told them. I helped mom set the table because I didn't want to go join grandpa and dad. Dad hasn't said a word to me eversince I came back nor has he looked my way. "You've hurt this family more than you'll ever know, especially your father. You two were close but you through everything away for that girl and stabbed our hearts like we were nothing to you. I forgave because you my son and because its part of growing up but it will be hard to win your father back." I didn't know what to say because I knew I messed up big time and the guilt was eating me up.

We heard a soft knock from the front door and knew it was her. My heart was beating so fast that I didn't know where to stand or sit. Mom saw I was nervous and smiled at me the went to get the door. When she walked in she greeted everyone with a smile but when she saw me I could have sworn I saw her take a step back and clung to my mom. It was like I have been stabbed by thousand needles in my heart and whatever I was about to say got stuck in my throat.

Mom invited her to the kitchen with her to get the dishes and asked to to call everyone else for dinner. I watched her live with mom still holding her hand. 'Gad help me start this dinner on the right note and not mess up as I have done before'. I said a silent prayer as I went to call everyone for dinner.
