Chapter 29: Aman’s “Genius” Plan
After realizing that his exam was actually the next day, Aman had two choices:
1. Use the extra time wisely and study properly.
2. Find new ways to procrastinate.
Guess which one he picked?
“I deserve a break,” Aman declared, shutting his book. “I’ve been through a lot.”
Riya rolled her eyes. “You mean panicking for no reason?”
Ignoring her, Aman flopped onto the couch. Unfortunately, his relaxation didn’t last long—because Dadi had other plans.
“You’re wasting time,” she scolded. “Come, I will teach you math.”
Aman’s eyes widened. “Dadi… you don’t even remember how old you are sometimes.”
“I don’t need to!” Dadi said proudly. “I’ll teach you in a way no teacher can.”
And so, Aman found himself in the weirdest math lesson of his life.
Dadi’s method:
“If you have 10 samosas and I eat 4, how many are left?”
“6?”
“Wrong. Because before you even count, your mother will take 2, your father will take 1, and the parrot will drop one on the floor.”
“Dadi, that’s not how math works!”
After 30 minutes of nonsense, Aman escaped, screaming, “I’d rather study alone!”

At midnight, Aman finally sat down to study.
“Focus,” he told himself. “No distractions.”
But just as he opened his book…
Ding! A new message from friends: “Bro, let’s play one game?”
Ding! A meme from Riya: “Exams be like: ‘beta, tera kuch nahi ho sakta’.”
Ding! A message from Mom: “Beta, drink milk and sleep early!”
“AAAHHHHH!” Aman shouted. “WHY IS THE WORLD AGAINST ME?!”
Deciding he needed a "quick break," Aman lay down for just a second...
...And woke up at 8 AM.

His exam was in one hour.

In full panic mode, Aman ran around the house.
Mom: “Have breakfast!”
Dad: “Check your admit card!”
Dadi: “Did you apply oil to your hair? Shiny head = good luck!”
Badshah the parrot: “FAIL HO JAYEGA!”
Aman grabbed his bag and dashed out, forgetting one crucial thing—his admit card was still on the dining table.

Riya noticed the card and gasped. “Aman forgot his admit card!”
Mom panicked. “Call him!”
But Aman’s phone was still at home.
With no time to waste, Dadi had an idea.
“Golu! Fetch!” she commanded, holding the card.
Golu, the family dog, took the card and bolted out the door.
“What is happening?!” Ramesh shouted.
Sunita ran behind the dog. Riya grabbed her scooter. Dadi, surprisingly fast for her age, also joined the Kumar Family’s Wild Chase through Rajnagar.
Meanwhile, Aman had reached school and was about to enter when the guard stopped him.
“Beta, admit card?”
Aman’s face turned pale. “Uh… I… It’s… Um…”
Suddenly, a loud bark echoed.
Golu arrived, admit card in mouth!
Behind him, the entire Kumar family arrived—panting, sweating, and looking like they had fought a war.
Aman snatched the card. “THANK YOU, GOLU!”
The security guard shook his head. “Your family is… different.”
Aman grinned. “Tell me about it.”

Inside the exam hall, Aman took a deep breath and flipped the question paper.
His face turned white.
“Oh no.”
He had studied for the wrong subject.
The invigilator looked at him. “Beta, why do you look like a ghost?”
Aman gave a weak smile. “Sir… bhagwan bharose hai ab sab kuch.”
And with that, The Great Exam Disaster came to an end—well, at least until the results arrived!

Just then, Badshah the parrot screeched: "FAIL HO JAYEGA!"
Aman threw a pillow at the bird. “I DON’T NEED YOUR NEGATIVITY!”
