The Great Exam Disaster – Part 3: The Result Day Chaos Chapter 34: The Day of Judgment Aman had managed to survive the exam (barely), but the real horror was yet to come—RESULTS DAY. He woke up in full panic mode. His phone was buzzing non-stop with messages from classmates: "Marks aa gaye bro! Jaldi dekh!" "Bhai, fail toh nahi hua na?" "Aman, bata na, kitne aaye? Acha bata, zinda hai ya chhat se jump maar diya?" Aman gulped. He had two options: 1. Check the result and face reality. 2. Run away and join a Himalayan monastery. Option 2 seemed tempting. --- Chapter 35: The Family’s Suspense Thriller Downstairs, the entire Kumar family had gathered, waiting for Aman to check his result. Mom was holding a plate of sweets, ready to celebrate. Dad had his glasses on, looking serious. Riya was smirking, already prepared to roast Aman. Dadi was chanting prayers. Badshah the parrot kept repeating: “FAIL HO JAYEGA!” Aman took a deep breath, opened the result portal, and clicked on his roll number. Loading… Loading… "AAAAAHHHH! Why is it taking so long?!" Aman screamed. "Server slow hai," Riya laughed. "Zyada log fail hue honge." Aman shut his eyes. "I can’t do this. Someone else check!" Riya grabbed the phone, glanced at the result, and went completely silent. The family leaned in, anxious. "RIYA! BOL NA!" Aman begged. Riya looked at him, expressionless, then said: "Aman… bhai… CONGRATULATIONS!" Aman’s jaw dropped. "Matlab??" "You PASSED!" For a second, everything was silent. Then— "YESSSSS!" Aman jumped up and down, screaming. "I’M ALIVE! I’M NOT A FAILURE!" Mom shoved a laddoo into his mouth. "Mere beta ne pass kar liya!" Dad wiped his forehead. "Bach gaya yeh ladka." Dadi smiled. "Maine bola tha na? Bhagwan bharose sab thik hoga!" Even Badshah the parrot shouted, "PASS HO GAYA! PASS HO GAYA!" --- Chapter 36: The Twist No One Saw Coming But then… Riya spoke again. "Wait. How much did you actually score?" Aman froze. He hadn’t checked his marks yet. Trembling, he looked at the screen. Maths: 35/100 (just passed) Science: 38/100 (miracle) English: 67/100 (thanks to guessing) History: 28/100 (uh-oh...) Aman’s face turned pale. "Uh… guys… we might have a small problem." Dad frowned. "Kya problem?" Aman pointed at History. 28 marks. The pass mark was 33. Dadi gasped. "Oh no!" Mom dropped the sweets. "Arre beta, fail ho gaya History mein?!" Riya started laughing uncontrollably. "Aman, you failed in the easiest subject?!" Dad shook his head. "Iss ladke ka kuch nahi ho sakta." And just when Aman thought it couldn’t get worse— Badshah the parrot screamed: "FAIL HO GAYA! FAIL HO GAYA!" Aman threw a cushion at the bird. "SHUT UP, BADSHAH!" --- Chapter 37: Operation ‘Save Aman’ Now, the real family drama began. "We have to do something," Mom said. "Aman cannot repeat the year!" "But rules are rules," Dad said. "Fail toh fail hai." Dadi suggested, "Let’s go to the principal and beg for grace marks!" "Are we seriously doing this?" Riya asked, laughing. "Aman, bhai, tera case toh viral hone wala hai!" And thus began OPERATION ‘SAVE AMAN’—the Kumar family’s desperate mission to convince the school to give Aman grace marks. --- Chapter 38: The Principal’s Office The next day, the entire family marched into the school. Dad looked formal and serious. Mom carried a tiffin full of sweets (for "emotional bribery"). Dadi was ready with religious blessings. Riya was there just for the drama. The principal, Mr. Mehta, looked up as they entered. "Aman? Again? What now?" "Aapko bas 5 marks dene hai!" Mom pleaded. Dadi clapped her hands together. "Beta, bhagwan sab dekh raha hai! Ek baar kripa barsa do!" Mr. Mehta sighed. "Madam, this is a school, not a temple." Aman gulped. "Sir, please. If I fail, my whole family will cry for a week." The principal shook his head. "Rules are rules." Everyone sighed. It was over. But then— "Wait," Mr. Mehta said, checking his screen. "Actually… Aman HAS passed!" The family gasped. "KYA?!" "Yes," he said. "Because of an internal policy, all students who got 28 or above in History were given 5 extra grace marks!" Aman screamed with joy. "I PASSED! I PASSED!" Dadi immediately took out a coconut and broke it on the floor. Riya started clapping. "Wah, Aman! History bhi likh di aur history bhi bana di!" The family celebrated right in the principal’s office. Even Mr. Mehta shook his head, laughing. "Your family is… something else," he said. "We get that a lot," Dad replied. --- Final Chapter: The Grand Celebration That night, the entire Kumar family had a feast to celebrate Aman’s miraculous pass. Mom made his favorite dishes. Dad gave him a pat on the back. Dadi called relatives to tell them "Aman is a genius!" Riya, of course, wouldn’t let him forget that he barely passed. As Aman sat back, relieved, he whispered, "I swear… next year, I’ll study properly." Riya smirked. "Bhai, tu jhooth bhi theek se nahi bol sakta." Everyone burst into laughter. Even Badshah, the parrot, said: "AGLI BAAR BHI YEHI HOGA!" And honestly? He was probably right.
