Prologue

"No! Please stop! Stop!" I screamed but I knew it wasn't going to change anything.
"Shut up!" He yelled at me, pressing harder on the accelerator, making the car move even faster. "You deserve this!"
"How dare you!" she glared at me. "Did you really think you could contact the orphanage without us knowing? You insolent child! After how well we treated you? The nerve you have! I hope you said goodbye to that girlfriend of yours cause we're going to die and we're going to die together!"
"Please don't do this! I didn't do anything wrong! Y-You guys are insane!" tears were flooding my eyes and I was greatly struggling to wipe them with my ugly overworn sweater sleeve, my heart nearly jumping out of my chest. They had tied my hands and feet with the dirtiest rope they could find but were still nice enough to put on my seatbelt and even permanently locked the doors and windows.
This isn't fair! I didn't do anything wrong!
I just wanted a family.
"Shut up! You're lucky we didn't put you in a cage! You're no use to us now! You could never do much anyway! How can someone be so weak and fragile?! You're a boy no less! Have you no shame?!"
...I'm seven.
The suicide/murder attempt seemed to take forever. As adrenaline coarse through my system, I realized there was no hope. I was really going to die. And with people I liked the least in the world! I couldn't do anything as the car was speeding closer and closer to the edge. All I could do was cry and I hated it. I was trapped.
We hit a tree and the car rolled over. My body was flung forwards and my face hit the driver's seat, I think my nose broke. The seatbelt tugged on my skin with every turn as the car spun then rolled over.
And then we fell.
That's all I remember after that. Falling. Everything stopped and there was only the sound of the rain for so long...
The large weight was lifted off me as I seemed to float away into complete and utter darkness. Only one thought going through my mind...
...I didn't do anything wrong...

Hey guys! Thank you for taking a chance to read my "book" and I hope you liked this chapter cause it's only the beginning of our story (see what I did there? *nudge* *nudge* *wink* *wink* (I-I can't wink but you can't see me because this is only a "book" so I can do whatever I want).
Anyway, I hope you all have or had (depending on your timezone) a great day and I comment whatever you want. I give you permission! (Unless it's something that'll probably lower my confidence and self-esteem then have you met the door because you can kindly exit it as well).
The first few chapters kinda suck but I promise you it gets better the more you read. (And I tend to keep my promises). So just stick around for a while If you can).
I don't know what I'm doing with my life.
When I finish this story, someone owes me ice cream for the next 50 years.
