We drive for hours. Changing direction multiple times. The excitement at potentially finding her has now turned into a fierce frustration.
“Stop the car,” I tell Zev.
“You got it, boss,” he nods and pulls over.
“I'm going to shift and call for her. We are wasting time driving around. She will be avoiding roads as much as possible, so the chances of us getting close enough to catch her scent are slim,” I say, pulling off my T-shirt and shoes in the car.
“I'm sorry I can't get a more accurate location. My contacts can only see what is immediately around her. Right now, it's trees, which doesn't help, I know,” Doranna sighs.
