Derry’s POV.
“This better be the last time I ever see this asshole, the next time I’m just going to kill him,” Hawk grumbles as we walk through the corridor.
“Back already? Your grandmother is still sleeping I’m afraid, and I’d prefer you didn’t wake her unless it’s urgent,” Dr Shelby smiles apologetically when she sees us walking towards her.
“No, we are here to dispose of the human,” Hawk tells her and her eyes widen.
“Not like that, he means we are taking him home,” I laugh nervously.
“Oh good, he’s in the secure room. You really ought to build an actual holding cell. I can’t have people locked in the secure room when I might need it for a patient. Tying them up and throwing them in a cupboard is not ideal either,” Dr Shelby scowls.
