PIERO’S POV
“Where the f**k is my wife?,” I yelled as I get off the car, while Niccolo walking after me. I saw Maxinne running downstairs the moment she saw me. Her eyes are in panic.
“Sophia --- she went upstairs to sleep, but…,” she explained while stammering. She stopped speaking as if she was trying to remember what happened.
“Maxinne!,” I yelled while grabbing her in arms. “Where’s Sophia?,” I asked her again while glaring at her. It seems she cannot take it anymore that she only looked down as she bit her lips. Then, she started crying. “Upstairs,” she sobbed.
